SOURCE: red light flashing top of logitech wireless

The flashing light could be a reflection from the LED and mirror or laser on the bottom of the mouse. I had this similar problem and it drove me nuts until I happened to hold it up to a mirror and noticed the flashing was in sync bot top and bottom of the mouse.

Trying to install logitech wireless mouse on Acer laptop with Windows 7 but not seeing the device. Wireless button is on and active on the laptop

Wireless button on laptop has nothing to do with wireless mouse. Plug in your mouse receiver that come with the mouse in to a USB port on your Laptop. Turn on your Mouse and hold the reset or sync button on the bottom of your mouse for a few seconds, so that the receiver can synchronize with your mouse. Mouse should now work OK

Hello, I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. I changed the battery for the keyboard and now both are not working. I should install the driver again?

I just had the same problem. First of all, make sure the transmitter to the wireless keyboard and mouse is plugged in tightly to the computer. It's possible that you could have pulled on the wire without realizing it, and it's not plugged in tightly! Unplug and replug the transmitter anyway after you change the batteries for the wireless keyboard. Then, there's a button on the transmitter, press it for 3 seconds, then quickly press the small button on the keyboard for 3 seconds, (my small buttons are underneath my wireless keyboard and mouse, and I use the tip of a ball point pen to press them). Then do the same for the wireless mouse. This syncronizes and boots them to start.
I'm not sure about the driver, but try the above first, it worked for me after I changed the batteries on my wireless keyboard and mouse.

Mouse will not work. I've changed batteries, unplugged and re-plugged the remote device. It will not work. What do I do?

Have you tried pressing reset/connection button on the device? Some Logitech models may have a connection button on the receiver which is plugged into the computer. The receiver button must first be pressed then press the device (mouse or keyboard) reset/connection button. Some Logitech models you will have to go into the Logitech software to start the connection software then press the reset/connection button when prompted.

Sometimes the batteries are bad (even if new), sometimes they were put in incorrectly (wrong direction) or not seated completely. Maybe there is a tiny reset button on the bottom you need to push after changing the batteries.
