Hello. OK, I have a wireless earbud paired to a windows 10 Professional PC. But I can't select it for output. It does not appear on the popup list of devices. How do it fix this?

In windows we dont have any in built utility but you can easily download some utility to change the IRQ number. Good luck

Try physically removing the player and fire up the laptop. Power down the laptop, replace the player and power back up. If that doesn't help, see if BIOS recognizes it.
If that doesn't work, get back to me.

OK, I bought this Western Digital MyBook 500 GB Essential Edition too, and could not get it to work with Windows 98 SE.

I followed the above instructions, but my version of windows was missing even the drivers suggested above! UGH!

HOWEVER, I found ANOTHER SOLUTION. I installed USB 2.0 drivers for mass storage and the the MY BOOK icon popped up on my Windows 98 SE machine. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

I had this same problem with my sony vaio (vista). But at first for me, after BT enabled the device, I couldnt find it in the device manager. I cycled on and off the headset a couple of times and once my vaio began to automatically connect the device, I was able to locate it in the device manager. Next, I went through the contol panel, hardware/sound, "manage audio devices". Here the bluetooth headset was located. After sucessfully testing the headset, I set it to default. Now whenever I fire up the headset, I have total mobile sound...awesome
