First you need to install Itunes on your pc. Then plug your Ipod into your pc. The pc should recognize it and you can name your product (ex. MY IPOD, or whatever you want to call your device). If you have acquired a used ipod from someone then it will ask you to erase and sync. You can only have your ipod synced to one library. You then need to load your itunes with the music you want on your player. This is fairly straight forward process. You can either load files onto it or insert a cd in and rip the music to your itunes. Once you have the music in your library plug your ipod in the library will recognize it and sync the entire library to your player or you can make playlists to sync certain songs to it.... hope this helps
You need to restore your Ipod .... This will erase all content on the ipod. The ipod can only be synced to one itunes account. This is a pretty easy fix for you. Your ipod is a nano so the max space you can have is 16gb. Just connect your ipod to your itunes account erase and sync it with your library you will need to add any additional songs from your husbands library to your library if you want them on your player ... or if your spouse has all the music that you want on your ipod just sync the nano to his library hope this helps
If I were you i would look in your song library, even though they are no longer on your mp3 player, they are very likely here.
Look to the far left of the windows media player sync page, here you will see a list of catergories including
"Playlists"
"Library"
"Media player"
"media player"
"Ipod"(or something like that)
And subcatergories. Go up to
"library"
on the list and click you should find your songs here.
If they are not there, then look in the recyclebin.
I hope I could be of assistance. Have a nice day! =D
Delete all the music youve just put on there. Then download iTunes, add all your music to its library then plug your ipod in, it will then sync automatically.
Your iPod syncs the songs in your iTunes library every time you plug it into your computer, adding/removing songs is only a matter of adding/deleting them from your library and re-syncing your iPod.
