Blue screen means either no signal (if unit has rear connections hook a DVD etc to one and go to that input and see if it works) Or the blue may mean set is in shutdown----5 months old and it should still have a warranty?

How do you hook up the TV to the PC? HDMI or VGA cable. There should be a green audio line mini-phone jack to hook up the audio cable from the PC to the TV using mini-stereo phone plugs.

Ur LCD inverter backlght board is dead.Replaced this board will get ur picture back.It a long board in shape.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.
