well there is no problem is transferring the sum card between mobiles.You should just remove the sim from your first phone by opening the back of your mobile where sim is placed then open ur second phone sim slot and transfer it to second mobile and switch on the mobile.

the connection to the flip top has been disturbed...i highly recommend you approach the service centre..iv had a similar problem..got it done with pros..

no you don't there is a small sim-card icon on the back of the phone that indicates to you how the card should be inserted in.

Try taking your battery out over night and let it sit..then in the morning put it back in and see if that cures the issue.

Try doing a hardreset on your phone

try holding down the power
remove the back cover and battery
(at this point briefly let up on the power)
remove the sim card
wait for "insert sim card" message
remove battery
reinsert sim card and battery
release power key when the splash screen comes up

Trya hard reset, you may lose data
