A follow-up to my previous post. I talked with a technician from the Co that installed my unit, and the issue lies in the "Utility saver mode" for the 2 stage heat pumps, and having the high stage locked out. In the Advanced Setup menu (hold the "Advanced" button for 10 seconds to access this menu, look for the "Utility Saver" menu item. Select it and your system probably shows that "Utility Saver" is enabled, which only allows your heat pump to run on the low stage and not the high stage. If you change the the setting to be disabled, this will allow your system to run at the high stage and should solve your problem.
I have not changed the settings on my system yet to confirm this solution. That will have to wait until I get home this evening.

I'm pretty sure that home depot does sell remotes for that brand, although you may have to buy a new receiver to go with it. Otherwise try a lighting store near where you live. They seem to be able to order things like that.
SOURCE: How to install a new temp sensor Whirlpool electric water heater
The instructions for installing the sensor will probably included with the new part. Also, when you receive the part and actually see it, you will probably know where it will go. Sometimes, things like this happen even with new units. I have had bad thermocouples on brand new units right from the factory. It happens and unfortunately it happens to us sometimes. Good luck and if you get the part and still have trouble, contact them again. If you would have bought a GE (Rheem) unit, they would have sent a tech out to your house at no cost. I'm not a fan of Whirlpool water heaters.
SOURCE: Fan stuck on HIGH, cant turn it off
there is a mosfet power transistor that drives the fan.it is probably shorted, applying full power to the fan at all times, even if the climate control is off

Thanks but I'm looking for what the fault code means. I need to figure out what needs to be replaced. Need better details on ac codes and a part list describing what that pcb does.
You gave me the link to get manual. No where in any of those manual did it talk about fault codes. So any other input that is good¿ Send me the fault codes to my email [email protected].
Mine is doing the same thing plug it in the wall it trys to turn on flashing 22 44 66 88 and then cuts off usually. Some times it might stay on for a half hour but I cannot use the control panel o the remote wtf it was bought not even two years ago
Almost the same error with my AC. Error code 22,44,77, 8.8 then po whatever that means. It shuts off and I have to press mode button to turn back on. It stays stuck at 70 degrees on high. Remote and control panel does not work. This happened about 2 years ago and I was able to fix it when i googled it. I found some codes and problem solved. Remote worked everything was back to normal. I remember it saying that this problem has to do with the ac reaching it's limit of hours being on. So pretty much we had to put codes to reset it. I can't find that article, I didn't think the same problem would happen again. My AC is about 4 years old. It happened the first time when we only had it for 2 years
