SOURCE: how do you replace the battery on a Taylor 508

1) remove the soft rubbery cover from the back of the thermometer, this will expose a screw which holds the front plate on. 2) remove the newly exposed screw 3) use a knife or screwdriver (in the small slot on the side of the thermometer) to pry the two pieces of plastic case apart. This will expose the battery 4) use a screwdriver to remove the 1 screw holding the battery cover to battery. 5) replace with a CR2032 3V Lithium cell 6) replace screws and covers

The Thermo temp flashes HHH ....and the thermometer keeps beeping...??? What do I do!?

That means the temp is higher than the unit is able to detect. If it has been exposed to very high heat then it is damaged. It may still have a bad sensor.

remove four screws on back of unit,cut red wire going to round beeping speaker inside lower front faceplate. problem solved it will never beep again but still read temp correctly.

yes there is a solution to stop the beep. Take a piece of cotton and put into ur ears..... simple

Current temperature on Taylor TruTemp 3528 reads "LLL"

It needs calibrated. LLL (low) means you need to put the probe in a glass of ice water. It will then say HHH (high) means you need to put the probe in boiling water, don't let the probe touch the sides of the metal pot of boiling water.
