My sony KDL "46vl160" sound is out of sync

1. Check your TV's audio settings:

If you're experiencing audio issues with your Sony TV, the first thing you should do is check the audio settings. Make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the correct source.

For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect to a sound bar, make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the sound bar. If you're using a receiver, make sure that the TV is set to output audio to the receiver.

2. Try a different HDMI cable:

If you're using an HDMI cable to connect your TV to a sound bar or receiver, try using a different HDMI cable. Sometimes, the cable can be the issue.

3. Check your sound bar's audio settings:

If you're using a sound bar, make sure that the sound bar is set to the correct audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the sound bar, make sure that the sound bar is set to the HDMI input.

4. Check your receiver's audio settings:

If you're using a receiver, make sure that the receiver is set to the correct audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the receiver, make sure that the receiver is set to the HDMI input.

5. Try a different audio input:

If you're using an HDMI cable to connect your TV to a sound bar or receiver, try using a different audio input. For example, if you're using an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the sound bar, try connecting the TV to the receiver using an optical cable. 6. Restart your TV: If you're still experiencing audio issues, try restarting your TV. Sometimes, this can fix the issue.

Cant get tv audio through receiver directly (without satallite, Game, DVD connection)

If your TV doesn't support audio return channel (ARC, which is your TV audio routed back to the receiver through the same HDMI cable), you then need to connect your television audio-out to your Onkyo TV audio input, using a digital cable or an analog one according to the connections on the back of your TV. If you use a digital connection (optical or coaxial), make sure you have the proper digital port assigned to TV on the onkyo I/O assign menu/digital inputs.
In case your TV does support ARC, you need to activate it in the Onkyo's hardware/HDMI setup menu, either by turning on HDMI control (tv or receiver control each other via cable), or by turning ARC on (you'd probably need to activate ARC on your TV as well).
Hope this help,

Attaching reciever to new hd LG tv...best wiring setup for the Technic without buying new

Only connect audio...you do not have a video option available with this unit but the optimal connection is always audio only between TV-receiver.

Connect any RCA cable jack of your choice from the audio out connection on the TV it may be labeled as "variable audio out" or simply "audio out" into the audio left and right channels of the TV section of your receiver. Be sure the channel connections between the receiver and TV match up and power it all on, connecting is finished.

Audio out locations on back of tv

Hello
You want to connect your TV with an external audio device, and want to hear sound from it, I assuses, and posts this solution.
There is audio out sockets at the back side of the TV, very near to S-Video socket. Marked audio "L" & "R". These two sockets are audio out socketsfrom TV to connect any external audio amp. Just use an audio cable to connect these sockets, to 'Audio IN' of the amp socket. Switch ON both the devices. You can hear the audio of your TV programmes by the amp you conneccted with.
The picture of the AV cable is given here. Take red and White colourd connections to connect the TV with amp. Left the Yello coloured pins free. It is meant for video. 2_11_2012_3_19_43_pm.jpg

What is the audio/video input?

Hi
Audio Video input or [AV] input is meant for to connect the TV to any external device which has AV output. For example, you can connect the TV with a DVD/VCR/Blu-Ray/Amplifier etc. The audio video output of the connectig device has to connect to the audio video input of the TV with an audio video cable. This cable can be bought from most of the electronic sparepart shops. After connectin it such, you have to go to the input selection window of the TV and must select the input of the tV to Audio Video. No tuning or any other adjustment should be done then. Just play the connected device and see the its output by Tv. OK.

How to connect surround sound, tv,wii, dvd

Depends on your TV, surround system, and the provided connections.

The most common with a decent LCD TV is connected all the input devices (DVD, Wii, etc) to the TV via their respective connections. Run the audio from the TV to the receiver via HDMI or SPDIF or other audio out line on your TV. Set TV to output audio through that line always and you are done.

Quality audio receivers will have a panel where you connect everything to it, then connect the TV to it via HDMI. It will play the audio and send the video signal via HDMI in what is called a pass through. This will only be an option on quality, mid to high end audio receivers.

In either case, reading the manual for the receiver will tell you how to do this.

Sound from my tv card, skydude doesnt work on my hp laptop, vista home premium

You haven't mention about the connections you have with the SKYDUDE TV box. TV boxes usually have AV (audio and video) connections i.e., two seperate connections for audio and video signals. If you are using a set top box to connect to the tv box you can connect the "video out" of the set top box to the "video in" of the tv box using a cable. and "audio out" of the set top box to the "audio in" of the TV box using another cable. Some TV boxes don't have the "audio in" option. In that case you have to connect the "audio out" from the set top box directly to the "audio in" of the computer. This pin you can find just near the "speaker" and "mic" connections.

If you have an S-Video pin in your TV box, you can use an adopter wire to connect two "audio in" and one "video in" connections to the same pin. And you have to select S-Video option in the software installed.

If you have "RF in" option in your TV box, you can use use AV to RF converter to connect your set top box to the TV box.

Thank you,

VGA and Audio cables connected to PC but no audio through TV

if your tv has vga input there should be a "line in" input very near it. VGA can only get its audio source through a "line in" connecting to the coaxial audio inputs will apply the music stream to a different video input on your tv. your tv has video 1, video 2, vga, and so on, but the vga cannot show video and then audio from the video/audio coaxial inputs. you will need something like a dual male tipped 3.5mm audio connector.

Good luck and pls rate this post

LG Plasma 42PC56 optical digital audio out

I can't imagine your setup. Box, tv and pc speakers?
Typical setup would be box, tv and some kind audio system with optical IN. Correct wiring would be connect box to tv via scart and connect optical cable from BOX to audio system. You have to go from box not from TV since scart connection doesn't carry audio signal. To have TV to output optical audio out you would have to connect it to box via hdmi.
