I have a short in the on/off dial of the Harman Kardon HK395 Speakers. It really takes a toll on the sound, if it gives out any sound. I cant keep fiddling with the dial.

Ok this needs careful observation to determine this type of problem

Please unplug these speakers and plug it into an mp3 player and write back to me if the speakers work ok? I'll tell you more from there
