Why does my CD-R-dvd receiver not turn on after sitting unused after a few days

I had a jvc cd/DVDs receiver Model number KW-V930BT installed in my truck 2 months ago. It will not turn on after sitting idle. The first time while I was away for one week. This time after being gone for a weekend. The installer got it working the first time. I do not believe this is the way it's supposed to work. What's going on?

SOURCE: How Can I Fix My Laptop DVD/CD Player? It's Not Working Right Anymore

Provide a CD/DVD cleaner disc and clean it maybe it help;
I encoutered that problem 3 months ago, the DVD ROM recognized only few DVD disc, other DVD's won't even the windows is freshly installed. The laptop was return back to the store they replace it.

However, in your case; it work fine before so maybe i suggest you to clean your DVD rom using the cleaner, if not work then , scan your computer with a potent antivirus, if this not work also, maybe i recommend to format and reinstall the system,

If all of those are not working maybe its time for you to enjoy the warranty of your laptop if the laptop has a warranty. hope this help.

SOURCE: HP dv4000 laptop CD not reading

Hi

Type of media settings might be the issue but making a change for standard CD/DVD recording (it affects reading too) Issue can be resolved. Right click on the CD/DVD drive (Usually D drive ) click on properties and select and choose the recording option. Click the enable CD recording for this drive option

Click on apply and OK. Try again. You may try after reboot the computer. If issue persist please post so we can think about some alternate solutions.

SOURCE: GES050 undercounter radio/cd player

..just read about your reception/interference problems and, having lived through similar situations for some time — particularly with different weather conditions. The following solution has settled it all : wrap power cable around storage brackets at back of radio with a short length then wound around support posts (between radio and cupboard from which radio hangs), then run short length to power supply outlet. In my case this result comes after much experimentation with the length of unwapped power cord (including fully unwrapped and stretched out) and different patterns of winding around the support posts. This final result takes care of everything (better sound, no interference/loss-of-reception when moving around in the room or in front of the radio, weather has no effect, stations received that could not be before due to overlap by nearby, more powerful ones). I have only about 2 1/2 feet of cable running from the brackets at back of radio, then wound once around center support and half around right support to then go to wall and down to receptacle close by (I tried all kinds of combinations of unwrapped lengths and winding patterns around 1 to 3 posts)...individual cases may be different. so GOOD LUCK, 'cause the radio is great...!

SOURCE: cd\dvd drive won't read software cd

Just a suggestion, try to update your drivers.. If you have installed any third party cd burner just uninstalled it. after uninstalling, clean the registry via ccleaner, regcure, or any other 3rd party cleaner... then update your drivers... most of the 3rd party cd burner software are damaging your cd drivers...

gud luck

SOURCE: Tray starter and InstantWrite Control Center have stopped working!

I just read on another website that the program "Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite" is the problem. It gets installed along with Wordperfect and it needs to be un-installed. I had the same problem with the 2 pop-ups and then when I tried to put in a cd with pictures on it, my computer crashed. I have just un-installed the Pinnacle CD/DVD Suite on my computer and the messages are gone and I can run cd's again!!

I need a owners manual ins. for kwx568 auto radio

Could the model be the JVC KW-XS68 CD/AM/FM receiver? Most JVC product manuals are available here: http://books.jvcservice.com/ . The direct link to the Instructions for the KW-XS68 is currently http://books.jvc.com/Download/1035753481/GET0755-001A.pdf . The installation guide is http://books.jvc.com/Download/1035753481/GET0755-002A.pdf .

I hope this helps. I can't find any radio model with the number KW-X568.

JVC KW-xr810 source changes by itself/randomely. IS it a swc problem with my Tacoma?

I would suggest you install a 12 Volt power filter to the device in question, this will filter out any spurious electrical noise that may be triggering this problem, These filters are available on line and any auto sound supply store or center.

http://books.jvc.com/booklist.asp?Model=KW-AVX706 This is a link to JVC support site where you can download the manual. However for a quick jump start. It is the LIGHT GREEN cable. Regarding the phone, reading the manual will be your best solution. Plus it is good to have a manual around. dreamsystems

Size of speakers and amp recomendation for JVC KW-AVX800

you need to find out what size speakers you have now and upgrade them with that size the amp you get will be based on the rms rating of the speaker. Example if the speakers rms rating is 100 watts the get a amp that puts out between 100 and 120 watts rms also to add bass you could go with a subwoofer that will add all your low freq. If you want something that doesn't take up alot of room try a bass tube you can get one amplifed or not.
