There is no sych special button with modern TVs. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the sites linked here. SOURCE: No Display

for the HD15 connection you need to set your TV to PC mode

the only thing I can think that you may be doing wrong is that you need to "ACTIVATE" the external outputs on the laptop,as they are not on by default.

To switch video output mode  LCD / CRT (monitor/PC mode) /TV mode plus some dual modes LCD + CRT / LCD + TV

I have found that the overlays used for video playback do not work in the dual modes,  (and I have found that CRT monitor mode is best for connecting to a large TV)

so switch your TV to PC input,  connect your HD15 cable and SWITCH output mode on your laptop (usually Fn F5) press until you get an output,

you will also need to connect audio, so get a phono -> 3.5mm jack plug and plug that in also, and you are ready to rock and roll

SOURCE: 37" hitachi plasma tv doesnt turn on

If you have a light on ( standby light ), then I would say power supply fault, tv could be shut down because of faulty capacitors in power supply. if you dont have any lights at all , check fuse in plug,
( there will almost certainly be a fuse in the tv) but, that is for a tv guy to fix.

What's your problem?

First, make sure this isn't coming from your signal source; these items are not listed in any of the functions described in the manual for your monitor.
If disconnecting, changing or turning off your signal source doesn't get rid of the control item display, try resetting the monitor (maybe the display has some extra firmware features not in the documentation):
  1. Press the Menu button on the side of the monitor.
  2. From the On-Screen Display, navigate to the Setup&Reset menu using the arrow buttons, then press the Source/Select button.
  3. Navigate to "Reset" and select it.
This should restore everything to the factory default setting and get the TV/monitor out of whatever mode it's in.

Wii doesn't sync remotes - Here is the fix!

If you are having problems syncing your Wii Remote (or Balance Board) to your Wii, follow these steps to reset all synchronized devices.

In many cases this will clear up the issue.

1. First you will need to check a few things, just to make sure what the actual problem is.

- Check to see that all cords are properly plugged in.
- Make sure the sensor bar is properly center above or below your TV set.
- Make sure that nothing is blocking the signal to the sensor bar.
- Make sure that the batteries in the remote are in good working order.
- Make sure that there are no wireless devices close by that might be interfering with the signal.

2. If after all this the remote is still not working then it probably needs to be re-synced.

3. Turn off and unplug your Wii console for five minutes.

4. Plug your Wii back in and power it on.

5. When you see the the Health and Saftey screen open the small flap on the front of the Wii console. Inside you will find the red sync button. Press and hold the red button down for 15 seconds.

6. Remove the battery cover from the Wii remote, inside you will see another red button.

7. Press and release the red button on the Wii Console.

8. Press the red button inside the Wii remote and then hit the A Button on the Wii Remote.

9. The remote will stop blinking and it should now be synced.

It saying .. No Sync what does that mean?

No Sync indicates that the input signal doesn't match the type of signal that the TV can read. A digital source going to an analog input could cause the issue.

What is your source for the signal?

If you are using the DVI connection on the TV to connect to a computer, try using the VGA input instead. Unfortunately not all TVs can interpret the computer's digital signal. (It is different than the digital signal from a set top box.)

The manual for the TV is available from the product site: http://insigniaproducts.com/products/televisions/IS-LCDTV32.html . The direct link to the manual is: http://insigniaproducts.com/cms/documents/IS-LCDTV32%20UM%20EN_SP_FR.pdf .

Please add a comment with your source and I will offer additional suggestions for solving the error.

I hope this helps.

The television CT-27G5 is not recognizing the IR from the remote. I have tested the remote and it is outputing a signal. Is there a reset procedure for the television and remote to put them back in sync?

No reset for that. Most likely the remote sensor inside the tv has gone bad. It is at the front of the main PCB beside the front panel buttons. check www.encompassparts.com for availability. Thanks for using fixya.

It wont appear on the tv or pick up the controller signals

Make sur eth controllers are sync to the xbobx in question. Press the little white circular button on the 360 and the one on the top of the 360 contoller (between the shoulder buttons).

Also make sure you have all the cables connected to the 360 and tv correctly, and make sure your tv is on the right channel. If this doesnt help then google for the 360 video reset code, which will reset your consoles display settings to default

Xbox 360 - While setting up in menu the TV went black and msg. No Sync. Signal

First, make sure you select either TV or HDTV selector on the Audio Video Cable that came with the XBOX. Second, if you chose TV plug the Audio/Video Cable connectot that are red, white , and yellow in color to your TV. Now see if you can see the Start up on the XBOX360.
If you still dont get anything, try plugging it on another television and see if that fixes your problem.
