Question about Whirlpool Home
If the jets are on there is no water in the PVC going to the valve. If they are off the PVC and valve have the same water level as the tub. If the water is sloshed around it comes out of the value and into the crawl space. Does anyone know how to post a pic to this forum. I have the valve / intake that is the issue but the plumbing supply place had no clue.

Depending on how mechanically inclined you are, take apart the tub and clean everything out. No easy task, I know, but who want old dog hair floating around? That will be your best bet.

I believe the below web site can help you with your problem. The jets are more then likely just turned off.
I hope this helps.

Sorry, the tub will have to pulled out to find out what is leaking so it can be fixed. There is just no other way UNLESS you can open up the wall on the blind side of the tube. (but its probably and exterior wall...if the house is vinyl sided, it can be done. If brick, you'll have to pull the tub). If you just wanted to convert to a tub only, maybe Bathfitters has an insert solution...

SOURCE: cleaning a whirlpool tub
The jets turn yellow from exposure to the sun, not much you can do except replace the jets (costly). What is leaking? if you broke the seal on a jet it will leak and have to be resealed.
