You will need a service centre to re-instal the settings from a pre programmed EEPROM.

Led tv showing horizontal red lines

Horizontal lines syptom is always related to its LED back-light section. Check and repair it first; if you can. Contact any service technician. In most cases, this fault might be of its display panel itself, because, most models of the Samsung TVs, the T'Con and LED drive system circuit are built in part of the display panel. If so; the repair will be almost impossible. Replacing the display panel will be the only remedy. As you know, it will be best to buy a new Tv; instead of replacing the Display Panel of any LCD TVs; as the cost of the panel + repair charge will come around 80% price of a new Tv. Check and confirm the fault is with its Display Panel. If yes; get rid of it. The decision is yours.
If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.
Line, faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.

Try opening your menu options and search for "updates" Usually when you set your TV for the first time it usually guides you to do this firmware update. Try acting like your are setting up your TV for the first time and maybe it will have a option for this.

May someone please send the service mode specifications for a Samsung LED 40 inch TV UA40EH5000R?

I don't have service mode specifications but I do have a Samsung and looked around for how to get it in service mode some time ago because the HDMI cables somehow disconnected themselves a lot. Thought it was an electronic problem but it turned out to be a parenting problem instead SO I have never used this information and can not vouch for it. I cut and paste it from a note I copied from a forum entry to use at your discretion:
First post:
To enter "Service Mode" Press the remote - control keys in this sequence :
From Standby Info-Menu-Mute-Power On
- The buttons are active in the service mode.
Remote - Control Key : Power, Arrow Up, Arrow Down, Arrow Left, Arrow Right, Menu, Enter, Number Key(0~9)
Careful though there are things you shouldn't touch in this menu.d-tvs/601553-samsung-service-menu-research.html

Another post:
Method 1
Put TV on standby and then push in series these buttons on the remote: 'info, menu, mute, power' the TV will then turn itself on and display a menu.
Method 2
Turn the power off. On the remote, press Mute followed by 1, 8, 2, Power in sequence.
Method 3
With the TV in standby, press the {DISPLAY} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 4
With the TV in standby, press the {SLEEP} {P.STD} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 5
With the TV in standby, press the {DISPLAY} {MENU} {MUTE} {POWER} on the remote.
Method 6
With the TV in standby. On the remote, press Mute followed by 1, 1, 9, Enter in sequence.
Samsung LCD Monitor Service Menu Instructions

End quote.
Good luck. Just a basic suggestion you probably don't need: keep track of any changes made by writing them down so you can put it all back if you have to.

Samsung 7000 on screen menu

It seems that the firmware corrupted. Just do a hard reset to this TV, and check. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 10 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset. If this do not help you, a firmware update should be done with the latest firmware, than it has been installed now. Contact authorized service center to get the latest firmware to your model TV by USB. If you wish to get more details, check the link given.

Samsung HC-P4752W No Color

Do not automatically think you need to go into the service menu. I bet you 100 to 1 that you pulled out a plug or a connector somewhere OR one is not seated into the plug all the way. If the set worked with color before you messed with it, there is not a problem in the service menu. The service menu is not the fix all thing. it is there to make fine alignments and adjustments, and as a matter of fact, messing with a service menu even with the service manual is very dangerous. I have seen peeps ruin TV sets by messing around with the service menu alignments. STAY out of these alignments. they are not going to fix a problem that all of a suddenly comes up. Repair the problem in the circuit first. Good Luck
