If the diagram is available it would be at the Evinrude website, if they even have one.

SOURCE: WIRING DIAGRAM FOR 1984 AMC EAGLE

well you have several options you can go to a dealship and have them copy the diagram for you(i do this all the time) or you can purchase a repair manual at Napa or Oreilly's for around 20 bucks. it has diagrams and schematics in it. it also has alot of instructions in it so you can do repairs yourself. By the way i'm surprised that the mechanic doesn't have these diagrams himself. I was wandering why it won't start after you changed the plugs and wires could it be that maybe the firing order is wrong. i've done that myself a time or 2. double check the the plug wires to make sure they are in the right spot. if the problem is it won't crank. chances are you have a loose ground. please rate this..thanks

SOURCE: hooking up wires to battery, solenoid, altornater and starter

hi from the uk if you look at startermotor solenoid you will see two large threaded terminals with nuts? and a third small terminal either spade or round terminal ok? now you should see thet one of large terminals already has a metal or braides strap secured to it and the actual startermotor body? LEAVE THIS ALONE the other large terminal is the one you fit the positive+ lead to from battery also there should be another lead to also attach to same terminal this one supplies power for vehicles electrics etc ensure you secure these with nut ok? now the third small spade or post terminal you will hav a thin wire nearby ?this attaches to thisterminal on its own on solenoid this wire is the one that activates starter when ignition is turned to key start position ok? as for interior light not working ? try again when you complete the above also make sure bulb is ok? ps! before you reconnect starter wires ensure the earth/ground lead is disconnected from battery and when reconnecting battery connect positive lead first then the earth lead or if you try other way you will have sparking from pos lead as you try connecting to battery hope this info is clear instructios for you to follow and wish you luck best wishes from england

Can you direct me to an exploded diagram of the starter on my 1994 60hp even rude motor

the good thing about starter motors is they are all constructed the same so any wiring diagram of a starter / overhaul manual for starters will show how it is made and the wiring diagram of the fields , armature and solenoid
if you go google and type in ---workshop manual for evinrude 60 hp 1994 outboard engine -- you may find a pdf version to download

Hi i have a 1984 35 hp evinrude electric start E35RLCRR that wont start or turn over

If you are sure that all connections are clean and bright, including the battery to the ground and battery cable to the solenoid, jumper from the battery (+) to the solenoid (+). If the solenoid clicks, but motor doesn't turn over, your solenoid is bad. Try jumpering momentarily from the battery (+) to the starter (+) and that should cause the starter to rotate. If that makes your starter rotate, your solenoid is still bad. Be sure that your starter has a good ground connection

Where do I find the wiring diagram for the starter circuit of a 1974 ford galaxie 500.

Chilton makes manuals that have wiring diagrams. You can get it at most auto parts stores.

1990 ford bronco II solenoid diagram

Not sure what you are saying the problem is.
You have a red wire on the solenoid that goes to the battery and a 50amp fuse. The red and lite blue wire comes from the key switch.
Then you have a black wire that goes from the solenoid down to the starter to energize it. You have a large red wire on the starter coming from the battery to power it.

I have a 1974 ford tractor, just put a new starter switch and starter can not get it to start shows i have power but starter does not turn on

Jump the starter. Power to the starter from the battery to the small post on the solenoid. If it cranks, check or just replace the wire that goes from the start poaition on the switch to the solenoid. this should take care of your problem. Let me know. Randy

What side of the starter solenoid does the "hot" wire go on for a 1974 Ford F250 truck. The solenoid is on the left fender wall. Someone had wired an aftermarket ammeter but it keeps shorting...

With the S terminal at the top of the solenoid, the hot wire (from battery) goes to the terminal on the left when you are in front of the solenoid looking at it. The other goes to the starter.

Subaru ea81 starter solenoid wiring diagram

Some starter solenoids are mounted on the fender near the battery and some are on the starter itself.

Typically the ones mounted on the fender have two larger posts and one smaller post. For the larger posts: One connects strait to the positive post on the battery. The other connects strait to the starter. The smaller post connects to the neutral safety switch which connects to the start position of the ignition switch. Here is a diagram. Make sure the solenoid is grounded good.

For the solenoid that is mounted on the starter: Connect the positive post of the battery to the large post on the starter. Connect smaller neutral safety switch/ignition switch wire to the smaller post.

Here is a diagram if you have both solenoids

Don't forget to hook backup any other wires that were hooked to the positive side of battery/solenoid like alternator wire etc.
