SOURCE: problem regarding mobile sim card chang

Your phone is asking for a code because it is locked to only work with one phone company. If your new sim is from a different company, you can request the unlock code from your old company, they may or may not give it to you (tmobile usually does, ATT/Cingular usually doesn't). The other option is to use a unlocking service, you can find plenty on ebay. If you didn't change phone companies, your new sim card is most likely bad, have your phone company send you another one.

SOURCE: CAN NOT FIND SIM CARD ON MY ALLTEL HUE

Alltel doesen't use SIM cards. You bought a phone for use on a GSM network, which in the US is T-Mobile and AT&T.

You would have to buy another phone that is branded for alltel and call customer service to switch phones.

What procedure must I do to swop sim card on my telkom cellphone? The new phones' simcard are the smallest one on the market and my simcard does notfit Waiting for your answer, please?

You have 2 choices. Purchase a new nano-sim for your phone with your account information on it or you can actually cut the old one to fit (I had to do this for my Moto g5 Plus). Here's some instructions.

My iphone is not working and says sim card invalid. Just happened - have had this phone for years

I had a similar problem before. That was a problem of a sim-card. I visited my mobile operator to reissue a simcard. The same number, just the new Sim. Manager in the office said that simcard validity is 2-3 years, sometimes more.

Hi,
Try removing the Simcard and reloading it again.Try switching the Simcards[Simcard 1 into Simcard 2 slot and vice versa] i.e to establish if its the Simcard or the phone with a problem. Also, check the Simcard reaction on another phone. If its the Simcard, contact your service provider for further instructions on re-activation.

Hope this helps.Thanks!

Not able to use other simcard. it is a moto z9 from at&t company

Well, cellphones which are bought from companies are locked for the SIM-Card of that company only, so you can't use any other company's SIM Cards. The solution is to get it to someone to "unlock" the phone for the company you want. Try asking in regular cellphone stores about the ability to unlock your phone for the company of your new SIM-Card. Once unlocked, you'll be good to go.

I purchased an N73 from ebay with serial number 356260016018574 it says "SIM CARD IS INVALID"..can you help me?

Actually the prolem doesnot lie with your phone.
ok iill try to give a best solution.
1) did you call you customer care about the Sim card activation,if you Sim card is not activated you might get "INVALID SIM CARD".
2)remove and place you Sim card properly into the phone as put the lock and check whether it fits perfectly.if your misplaced it wont work
3)IF your simcard is old, then its the problem with the sim card, try replace a new one.

i say its not the problem with you phone as long as your phone's menu, keypad, camera etc etc are working fine..

A message pops up saying: Invalid or missing sim card. You can still make emergency calls if your service provider supposrts it. I have a sim card in their but i guess it doesn't read it?? HELP ME PL

Is this phone from the same service provider as your simcard? If not, not all phones are unlocked to work with the sim cards of rival companies. If both the phone and sim card are from the sam company, then you can have the company replace your sim card. They usually do this for free as a courtesy as long as you explain the problem to them. Hope this helps
