After replacing the water filter on my Maytag MFC2061HES refrigerator it does not dispense water.

Your best bet is to shut the unit down for a while and let it defrost. You've probably got your box set too cold. 0-5 degrees on freezer...38-42 on fridge side. If your unit is not digital, use a regular outdoor thermometer, close the door for half an hour and then open to read it. Adjust accordingly. If too cold...you're using too much energy, too.

check and see if the ice is fully formed or look hollow / if hollow then run you a new water line to frig / if cubes are full then replace water valve.

In the water supply line to the refrigerator is normally a saddle type valve where the water supply is connected to your house water line. Trace it back and shut the valve off fully then turn it back on. When some work is done to any part of your household water system sediment may have lodged in the saddle valve causing a restriction. Closing the saddle valve and reopening it may dislodge the restriction.

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today. Your water tank is frozen! Itson the back wall of the fresh food section if you look behind the drawers you will see it. Use a hair dryer and heat it untill you get water out of the dispenser. This is a common issue with this model.
