Control lock on ge cooktop jgp975sek1ss wont stop buzzing. Igniters still work but buzzing won't stop. I unplugged and can light manually. What part needed, igniter harness switch?

did the water fall on the spark module do you hear a faint click ,igniters dont go bad if they get wet if you say theres power going to the cooktop then you might have a bad spark module.

SOURCE: igniters are not working right

when you turn any burner control to lite all ignitors should click this is normal industry wide. the ignitors are controlled by switches that are placed over the valve shafts they are wired up together so thats why they all click when you only operate one valve don't worry about it. the ignitor stays on untill you back the valve off a tad this is also normal.

when you cleaned the unit you may have gotten water in side the igniter, dry it out w/ a hair dryer. Once dry should work .
