I have a new Shift 3 Time and Temperature Alarm Clock. The remote signal is not being received by the clock..hence the outside temperature is not recording.
1) Does the remote have batteries? See other posts that describe how to do this (4 screws in back need to be removed). Temperature should be displayed in small window of the sending unit if it's working.
2) Hold Channel button for 3 seconds until it beeps - the unit then searches for a signal.
Light that provides projection and on the clock face is not on. Batteries changed didn't solve the problem. If there is a need to unscrew and remove the back, I'll have to buy a supper small jewelers phillips head screw driver. (???).
