Question about Logitech Audio Players & Recorders
SOURCE: Logitech x-230 speaker system
Ironically enough, I went on here because I have the satellites but no subwoofer! LOL, what are the odds. Anyways, if you happen to receive this information, can you please email me at [email protected]?
Like I said, I'm searching for the same exact information for a similar problem and this would REALLY help as I can't power the speakers without this.

This is a bit of a difficult solution to give you. You may not need to ground the speakers unless you're getting a hum from them. In this case, my best suggestion would be to purchase a good quality power strip or low end UPS which will filter the power and reduce/eliminate the hum.
Hope this helps!!

i had the same problem with same speaker system. the amp for this system is inside the bass speaker. if your amp is still working but your bass speaker is not you could cut the wires to that speaker making sure the cut wires do not short out. i was quoted more to repair them than it was to buy a new set. but i wont be buying logitech again as ive had two lots fail.

Since you have solid products from the leader in 3rd party accessories it should be a snap. Just go to www.logitech.com/home. You shouldn't have any trouble there. Just ask a CS there CS is outstanding.

I just bought a replacement as the old one didn't work - new one doesn't either ! Do I need to do something to get it to talk to the amp?
