When I press Address, then Spell state, the screen shows "No matches found" I live in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Have had the 650 for 2 years and have had recent problems with itineraries. Thanks

When you press "Address"...Your next screen should be the state you are in. If you want to change the state or country go to the bottom of that screen and press "State or Country". Next screen you can select "Spell State or Province". If you want to change Country press the bottom of the screen and proceed to the next screen and enter the country name....example Canada....

when you are at the where to screen press where to ? thenat the next screen press address, then at the next screen you will notice at the bottom of the screen it says change state/country. press that and then at the next screen press the spell state or province button. you can now type in any state you would like. good luck and happy traveling. Where To..... Address..... on this screen you will see on top Select City in.. ( below the State chosen )

if that is not the State the city is in then change the state on bottom of screen to the one you want by pressing Change State / Province


if you need to change a city just press Spell City to the one you want after your state is selected

Go to Where To...... Address...... on top of screen you have where its searching saying ( Select City in )

to change that look on bottom of screen there is .... Change State / Province

After powering up the unit and selecting address, the unit displays, "In What State is the Address? and Spell State. When I press Spell State, it has No Matches Found. When I press Back and attempt to enter the first letter of any state, the unit displays "No Matches Found".

How are you entering it? You should go to "Where to?", "Address", then "Spell State/Province". Enter "On" and the unit should pull up "Ontario". Press this, then press "Spell City/Postal Code". Type "Ot" and the unit should pull up several cities, including "Ottawa, ON" Press this, then enter the rest of the address. Let me know if this helps.

Your unit should be preprogrammed with US addresses as well as Canadian addresses. When entering the address, you should press "Where to?", then "Address". The next screen should show you the province you are in, and the button below that should say, "Spell State/Province". Press this, then enter the US state in which the address you want to navigate to is located, then the rest of the address. Let me know if this helps, or if you are still having trouble.

After pressing Where To?, then Address, you should see a screen that says the state you were last in, and below that it should say something to the effect of Enter State/Province. Press this, then enter the Canadian Province you wish to navigate to, such as Ontario. You should then be able to enter the rest of the Canadian address as usual.

1. From the Where To? View Map, Travel Kit page press WHERE TO

2. Press ADDRESS

3. Press SPELL STATE (should be the 2nd blue box on the page & may read SPELL COUNTY)

4. Press the letter K and Kansas + Kentucky will come up; Press the letter T and Tennessee + Texas will come up, etcetera

5. If the information does not automatically appear, hit DONE and the information will appear. For example on my nuvi 660 if I hit the letter “A” nothing happens until I hit DONE.

6. After pressing the single letter for the sate/province in which you are interested, the unit will prompt you to spell the CITY name.

You will then enter the information as it applies.

Go into "Map Info" and make sure that check box is checked, so the system can "use" that map.
