SOURCE: Freq change GME GX300 from 27Mhz to 29Mhz

Hold down the 88/pri and the DW buttons while switching on the radio into programming mode. You'll then need the programming soft and hardware to read the radio., add the 27mhz channels and write it back to the radio. The GX300 can only store additional freq. in the p1-p0 modes

Will talkabout 250 communicate with cb

No. Your Talkabout T250 operates on FM UHF frequencies between 460-470 MHz. The CB operates on 40 frequencies between 26-27 MHz.

What frequency do these run?? am or fm??

CB or citizen's band is in the 27 MHZ band. Its 40 channels long, AM typically, and on some models side band, or SSB.

It is only legal in the US to have a radio that operates in the 27 MHZ band on the designated 40 channels using AM or single side band only.

The MCB-30 is an AM only radio.

Will it work with a cb radio

No. CB's operate at the 27 MHz on 22 predetermined frequencies allowed for Citizen Band radios; and your Motorola XV1100 radio is a VHF 150-170 MHz radio with a set amount of built in frequencies to choose from, designed for business use.

I Cant Pick Up Any Signals On my Cobra 25 LTD 40-Channels Base CB Radio all i hear is nothing. no truckers saying stuff. i just get white noise i do have an antenna. it is a tv antenna w/ bunny ears :) i...

Your problem is probably the rabbit ears. They are for tv in the 54+
Mhz and CB is 27 Mhz. For simplicity, go to Radio Shack and get a back of the radio indoor antenna. They run under $20. If you want to get more; try a roof antenna or a 1/2 wave cb marine antenna outside.
Hope it helps.3
