If it is UHF and fairly new, select the frequency on the transmitter and then power up the receiver, press search and it should find it.

Pins 2&3 are the correct ones to use for checking the voice coil. Pin 1 is chassis ground and should always read infinite resistance to the other two.

That microphone has an impedance of 100 ohms, so if you are reading 30 ohms you clearly have a problem with the voice coil.

Good Luck

SOURCE: Audio-Technica AEW-4100 losing signal.

The best thing to do is try to find someone local that has a white space analyzer to see if the frequency(s) you are using are being shared or used by something that is causing the signal loss. A pro sound company or internet networking company may have the analyzer and could help you out.

That's called, "interference". Somebody else is broadcasting on the same frequency, perhaps a local fire station or other radio transmitter.

Hello Could you tell me how to get the infrared

Hello... I am sorry to hear you are having problems. I am unsure if you bought this as a package deal with the headphones or purchased the headphones separately. If you purchased them separately, they may not be compatable. Headphones come in different frequencies. The reason for this is if you had 2 different dvd players and 1 kid was watching Spongebob and the other kid was watching Hannah Montana, they would not interfere with each other as far as sound. Some dvd players will allow you to change the output frequency of the IR (infrared) transmitter built into the dvd player. This feature would be in the menu section of your dvd player. Make sure the headphones are on properly, because if they are backwards, they may not read, because IR frequencies are "line of sight" meaning the receiver (headphones) has to see the transmitter (dvd player). You will see a tinted window that has 3 or 4 bulbs. That will be your transmitter. Make sure you have good batteries in the headphones and that you have them turned on. If you have power and have checked the IR frequency, and they were purchased aftermarket, then you may need a different set that receives the correct frequency. If this is a package deal and you have checked the batteries and they power up properly, you may have a bad IR transmitter inside the dvd player. With the info you provided I can only speculate at this point, but this gets you on a start. Let me know if I can help more! Good luck with your venture!!

Mic receives a lot of static and then cuts out. After a few seconds it seems to repeat.

This could be due to interference from other devices.
You could try changing to a different frequency (there are 20 to choose from).
Also move the receiver away from any strong electro magnetic fields (hearing loop amplifiers, CD/DVD players, TVs) or large pieces of metal and in clear line of sight of the transmitter pack.
Set up the aerials so that they are at a similar angle as the aerial on the transmitter.
Only use xlr balanced cables with good quality screening to connect the receiver to the mixer / amplifier. Keep signal cables well away form mains electricity cables as far as possible.
Wherever possible use balanced xlr cables on all other equipment.

I purchased 6 receivers of this model, I need to get the mics...Even if I got them, is it posible for them to work, in other other words Can I adjust them to the receivers' frequencies? And if so, would...

Normally the mics and receivers are sold as a unit but replacement mics can be bought separately.
However the ATW-R11 has been discontinued so may now be hard to find.

This model has 20 available frequencies so you should be able to change frequencies okay.
NOTE - you will require a license for these frequencies

No, the ATW-R200 series are fixed-frequency units.
Short of soldering new crystals in, you're stuck with the frequency you've got.

Two diffrent units with two diffrent frequincys . i wantto change

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but those units are fixed frequencies and cannot be changed. You either have to find a mic that matches your receiver or vice-versa. The freeway 200 series comes in 3 freqs. two of witch you have with the addition of 170.245. Maybe you can find someone who has a damaged mic but still has the receiver with the freq. that you need for your mic.

Wireless headphones

If you're handy, you could rig up a wireless solution to this. The problem is that you have two screens, each presumably playing a different movie. If you purchased an off-the-shelf wireless transmitter accessory, you could connect it to one of the screens. But then if you purchased a second wireless transmitter accessory, and connected it to another screen, you would need to make sure both wireless transmitters were operating on different frequencies, so that each person could wear a different pair of headphones and listen to their own movie. Hopefully this makes sense. You could use either an FM Modulator to do this, or an Infrared Audio (IR) transmitter... Remember, these units aren't like factory installed headrest systems; they don't have the wireless audio transmitter already built-in, so you can't just buy wireless headphones and listen to them.
