SOURCE: Radio volumn goes down when braking

What it is called is (speed sensitive volume):

The radio volume automatically adjusts according to vehicle speed to compensate for road and wind noise. PRESS THE TUNE SELECTOR UP/DOWN OR SEEK LEFT/RIGHT TO TURN OFF OR SELECT RATES 1 THOUGH 7. 7 COMPENSATES THE MOST VOLUME AT HIGH SPEEDS.

I hope that this works for you. Please let me know if you need any more help with you 2006 focus

SOURCE: Toshiba (Model : 36A43) - volume goes down automatically

I am having same problem on 32 inch same problem. After playing with board with no results,I tried front buttons and found that if I held the power button in ever so slighItly as not to turn it off, it fixed problem which is the micro on/off switch, I removed the switch and used the remote and everything is back to normal, I am about to insall a used micro switch after I finish typing this but I am sure this will clear up volume problen and menu going crazy problem if not I will just leave micro switch out and use the remote, and I will get back to this board only if that micro switch still causes the problem, so if I don't post in next hour the problem is fixed and I'm more than glad to help.

Volumn increases automatically

You probably have a shorted button on the TV itself. It's not the remote. Consult a professional TV technician to resolve this issue.

Toshiba LCD TV 19Av505DG how to unlock the side menu

Hello
To unlock the TV do the following:

Disconnect the AC power for at least one minute to reset the clock.
Adjust the volume to the minimum using the Volume down button on the front of the unit.
Press and hold the Volume down button on the front of the unit and the 0 button on the remote control at the same time, holding them down for at least 10 seconds.
The user menu will appear with the V-Chip cursor blinking.
Press the ENTER key on the remote control and the NEW PASSWORD menu will appear.
Enter your new password.

The V-Chip is bypassed by holding the zero key on the original remote hand unit, and at the sane time holding down the volume down on the front of the TV set. This should reset the oide so you can enter a new one.
OK.

When i turn the tv. on, the volume line appears all the way to zero. if i turn the volume up, it goes up but when i release the up button the volume goes down all by itself.

It sounds like one of the volume down buttons is stuck in the activate position. The same as if you were holding the down volume button continuously. It could be either the volume down button on the TV or the remote. I would try remove the batteries of the remote then adjust the volume by the TV buttons.

If the volume doesn't go back down then the remote is the problem. In order to fix the remote you may need to take it apart. This is normally easy to do just locate any screws that may be holding the remote together. If you don't see any screws then you will need to pry the two sections apart. Separate the circuit board and rubber buttons and clean them both with some rubbing alcohol and reassemble it. If it still has the volume issue you may need to replace it.

If the problem persists with the remote deactivated then it's the volume button located on the TV. That is a little more difficult. You can try wiggling the button or some canned air (used to clean computer keyboards) to blow it clean. However it may need to be disassembled to gain access to the switches for proper cleaning.
Hope this helps.
