Open Question

Frigidaire GLEB27T9Fbb After 4 to 5 minutes in Bake mode display panel will show PF, clock will go to 12:00 and oven will be off. restart by resetting clock to correct time and resetting oven temp

Problem occurs similarly with both top and bottom ovens. Have checked and reset circuit breaker to no avail. Anyone else have any history with this issue?

SOURCE: PROBLEMS WITH FR ERROR MESSAGE APPEARING

Mewood What part did you call "thermostat"? If you?re talking about the device which operates the oven temperature, your oven does not have such thermostats. It has two oven temperature sensors (one in each oven) and a control board (ERC). An error code "F4" will be displayed along with a beeping sound if the ERC determines an open oven temperature sensor circuit. It can be the sensor itself or the wires that connect the sensor to the ERC. The F4 message will not be displayed in the time of day mode. To get access to an oven sensor and wires, the oven has to be removed from the cabinet. Then you have to remove the rear cover. Then unplug the oven sensor and check the resistance across the oven sensor. It?s supposed to be about 1100 ohms at room temperature. If the resistance is incorrect, the sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. If not, check all the wires from the oven sensor to the ERC. If it is not the sensor and wires, you have to replace the ERC, but most likely the problem is with the wires and/or connections. Part number for ERC is 62965, part number for oven sensor is 62593. Have Frigidaire Gas oven FFGF3053LSF. We had a power surge & F13 code came on display. Power restored, clock works, F13 code is gone- but now a DR code comes on when I push bake or broil button

the F13 indicates that you have an EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) error in the clock control board of the range. You can unplug/turn off breaker to the range for 1 minute and then plug/switch it back on. This too may possibly fix the DR.. maybe?!

Kenmore ultra bake self cleaning super capacity electric oven is showing the letters pf in red what could this mean?

PF usually just refers to power failure. You should only have to reset your clock and then check to make sure everything else works.

How to get a pf code off . Just installed new control panel and this code is all that shows up. Help it a frigidaire oven mod. Ples389ech

    I appreciate your inquiry, J.J!

From what you have described your Frigidaire oven is displaying an error code of "PF" and you just installed the control panel. A "PF" error code stands for power failure. This could be a possible problem with your control panel and power source. You may need to perform a reset on your oven and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If this does not help resolve your issue I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information is helpful to you. -Matt

I have a Frigidaire Range model PLES389DCC, it's top cooking function well, but display panel PF show, the clock start from 12:00 (after off/on circuit breaker) and kicking. I have order the control panel...

The clock may be set for 12 or 24 hour time of day operation.
The clock has been preset at the factory for 12
hour operation. When the range is first plugged in or when
the power supply to the range has been interrupted, the
timer in the display will flash and PF (power failure) will
    appear in the display.
    To set the clock:
    1. Press Clock . "CLO" will appear in the display.
    2. Example for 1:30. Press the numbers 1 3 0 to
set the time of day to 1:30. "CLO" will disappear
after 4 seconds and the clock will start. Or you may
press Start. "CLO" will disappear and the clock will
    start.
