My aunt and uncle from Japan gave me a Cybershot sony DSC-HX60V, the problem is, it is in japanese.....I have to change the language to english, how can I change it?

keep "poking"around",eventually you will select"initialize",this will revert your camera to factory settings,and most likely "english"!

I bought a camera in Japan (Sony Cybershot DSC-WX1) and now it seems that i can't change the language from japanese to english. If i select (can't read it but with the help of the english digital guide i think i have the right menu)change language, there seems to be only one language available. -japanese- How do I solve this?

The region has to be changed to US or UK. It is done with a special Sony adjustment software.

Hi,

Changing language settings on digital cameras sometimes can be confusing. We will have to make use of the menu symbols so that we can change the language from Japanese to English. The picture below shows us the navigation buttons that we will use in this process.



1. Press the MENU button
2. Choose .
3. Choose 4. Choose 5. Choose English.

Touch [HOME] to bring up the main menu. Select Settings (toolbox icon). Select the "A" icon. Select the desired language.
