I have a Dacor ERD48SCH/NG oven/range. Accidentally changed the clock time to military (24-hour) time, and now can't figure out how to change it back. How do I change back to regular 12-hr time?

Step 1 Locate the "Clock" button on the display. The display is located above the oven door. It clearly shows the time and has settings for temperature, time and cooking.
Step 2 Press and hold the "Clock" button until the time starts to blink.
Step 3 Set the time with the number pad. Ignore the colons and enter the number straight through. For example, if the current time is 10:08, just type 1-0-0-8.
Step 4 Set AM and PM by pressing the "#" button. Press "Start" to finish.

Hi there, thank you for your answer. However, our oven is at least 5-8 years old and does not have the number pad.

SOURCE: clock is in Military time...can't change it back...

If you call Dacor they will talk you through the solution but you have to have another person ready to turn the breaker off while someone is pushing a button. I have contacted them and am trying to get the instructions emailed.

SOURCE: I have a blue hat toy co. time and space

We also purchased the same alarm clock and I accidentally figured out how to convert to 12 hour (AM/PM) format from 24 hour format. Once the time is set correctly, and you are out of the time set mode, you can press the UP key and it will toggle between the formats.

How do I get viking oven veso1305 off military time

To change the time display on your Viking oven from military time to standard time, follow these steps:
  1. Press and hold the "Clock" button on the control panel until the time display starts flashing.
  2. Press the "Plus" or "Minus" buttons to adjust the time to the correct standard time.
  3. Press the "Clock" button again to save the changes and exit the time-setting mode.
Regarding the codes that appear when you press and hold the "Clock" button, these are called diagnostic codes and are used to troubleshoot problems with the oven. The codes will vary depending on the specific model of your oven and the specific issue being diagnosed. You can usually find a list of the diagnostic codes in the owner's manual for your oven, or you can contact Viking for more information.

On my GE Cafe oven, how do I change the time display from 12 hours to 24 hours?

Not knowing your model number, a generic manual search was done. Unless you have something that says the clock will display 24 hour format, you are unable to change your clock to that function.

I try to set the clock on the oven but pressing the CLOCK touch pad or the TIME-TEMP pad has no affect. It is completely nonresponsive.

It sound like the board is faulty, its quite common after power surges can cause damage to small circuit boards like clocks, I would recommend changing it as the clock will also provide timing for switch on at a set time cook for time as well.

How do I change Bosch oven clock from military time?

We have an older Bosch Oven (maybe circa 2010), and the way to access the special settings is to hold down the "Temp" button for 2 seconds which reveals a hidden menu of goodies. I made two changes in there--changed it back to 12 hour instead of military time as well as disabled the annoying beeps every time you press a button. Manual is here: https://media3.bsh-group.com/Documents/9000369981_A.pdf

Wolf ovens getting err message after power outage

I had a Wolf 30F wall oven with a similar problem
after power outage. It wouldnt stop beeping with error message related
to temperature control. My solution was to turn power of at circuit
panel, then reset by pressing and holding the clear button for 5
seconds.

Also note: in my case I had to close the display
before switching the panel off. When I tried to the reset process with
the panel showing, it wouldn\'t reset.

To reset other
various parts of the control panel Instructions said:

Time-of-Day Clock

Immediately after the oven is installed, set
the 12-hour clock to the current time of day. It may need to be reset
after a prolonged power failure. The clock is visible on the control
panel during all modes. If the upper oven timer is set, the clock will
not be visible in the upper oven control panel display.

SETTING CLOCK

1) Touch CLOCK.

2) Touch number pads to
set current time of day.

3) Touch CLOCK or ENTER to start
clock.

24-HOUR CLOCK

The time-of-day clock can be
changed from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock. After the clock has
been set, touch TEMPERATURE for three seconds, touch CLOCK, and then
touch ENTER. Follow the same sequence to change back to the standard
12-hour clock setting.

Fahrenheit to Celsius

The
oven can be changed from Fahrenheit (°F) temperature to Celsius
(°C).

F0 means: Clock pushbutton is stuck in a depressed position. Check clock buttons. You might need a new touch pad.

Changing the clock time

If you mean simply adjusting the 12 hour LED to the time of day...Push the area on the glass control panel printed "clock". Enter time of day by using same "buttons" you use to adjust oven temps, as in 1-2-0-5, which would be 12:05. then push clock once more. If you meant changing from 12 hour time to 24 hour time, that is complicated, takes two people, and is on page 30 of your owner's manual.

Dacor ECS230 Wall Oven Control Panel Time functions not working

Try turning the power off at the breaker for 12 hours.

I had the same problem, tried turning the power off for a few minutes but that did not fix the problem.

Leaving the power off overnight seems to have fixed it.
