SOURCE: Sync the headset

You never said what model is your phone but the general practise is to pair the headset to the phone.how?? Make sure the headset is fully charged ,normally showing blue light depending on the brand. 1>While the phone is on ,press a button on the headset and it(headset)should show a blue light depending on the brand. 2>keep this button pressed and go to your phone's bluetooth configs and select a 'add audio divice' tab.The phone will search for for any headset in the vicinity till it finds yours. 3>Select your headset name shown on the phone and you could be required to enter password to pair,in this case most will be (0000)or (1234). Sorry had to be this long!!!!

Hold the up volume and the talk button (the one on the side of the ear piece) down until the status light flashes red then blue.  This places the headsead into pairing mode.

SOURCE: Lost N136 Manual

I have an N136 which turns out to be an HS850 (with folding boom}. This model requires the boom to be folded while the answer button is held down, When the light comes on the boom must be extended before the light goes out. The light will now stay on and the phone should find your headset.

I have a Motorola N136 hands-free ear piece and cannot get it to sync with my Blackberry. I need some help.

It's not actually an N136. It's an HS850.

To pair it, turn bluetooth on the blackberry on.
Close the mic on the headset.
Hold down the headset button until it lights up.
Open the mic on the headset.
Tell the blackberry to search for devices.

You should be back in business.
