Where can I find the correct fuse size for Crate GFX-212T Guitar Amp?

It's actually not listed anywhere. I did buy one a few years ago & replaced the fuse holder, which I have to do again as I found the holder is missing the inner metal terminal that the power switch goes to. I need to know the correct part and amp.

If you are competent with a soldering iron, and mechnaically inclined, you should have no problem if you excercise patience. Do not force anything.

You learn the most by doing it yourself.

I have a crate GFX 50 and the effects come in only after about 15 minutes of play.

This is a warm up issue and can probably best be found by using circuit cooler on suspected components.

Other possible problems may be a bad solder joint or cracked circuit board.

Candle the board with a bright light to look for cracks.

Bad solder joints take experience to spot, but pay particular attention where panel mounted volume controls solder to the circuit board. Looking for the little ring around the solder menicus takes a sharp eye and good lighting. Resolder any suspected bad joints.

I have a Crate GT 15, not getting anything to the speaker when I plug in.

Do you have electronics experience? Inspect the amp for broken or cold solder joints and any burned components. Check to see if the fuse blew and that the output IC's or transistors (not sure what Crate used in these) are not bad. Check your speaker wire as well.

It will not work what colud be wrong

its a crate. 60% of all crate amplifiers go back on defects. take the top screws out and slide out the chasis, look at the fuse and determine if its toast. if the fuse is good, get a new amp. if the fuse is bad replace it and you should be good. the circuit board will have the correct fuse to be used printed on the board.

I have a Crate PA-8 that hasn't been used in a long time. I destress and sing. Anyoo it has a power issue. Light is flashing on then goes off. I can't find a manual. Can anyone assist me please?

you have either a failing fuse or a failing power transformer. take out the screws on the top of the amp, leave the handle in tact and pull out the chasis. look at your fuse to see if it is in its holder correctly, and see if the fuse is burnt. the correct fuse values will be printed on the circuit board. if the fuse looks good then, it may be the power tranny going south.

Crate tube amp will not power up but cooling fan tries to run

Yes.
Are you saying that the only indication that it is running at all is that the fans are running? So the tubes don't light up? No indicators on the front of the amp?
Power supplies that provide multiple voltages, which your amp has, can provide some of the voltages while having a problem that prevents them from providing others, all while not blowing a fuse. If you are not confident in your ability to work on a piece of electronic equipment that has 120VAC coming in and at least 175VDC or more present inside it, bring it to a service center.
The good news is that it is probably not horribly serious. Problems like this can almost always be repaired in a cost effective manner.
