The Soap/rinse aid dispenser of a Miele G575 is not compatible to be used in a G664 dishwasher. It is important to note that the dispenser is model-specific and not interchangeable between different models of Miele dishwashers. It is recommended to check the manual of your G664 dishwasher or contact Miele customer support to make sure you get the correct dispenser for your appliance.

Could be soap buildup in the dispenser or on the door hinges. Try running leaving the dispenser door open and run a wash only cycle. It may wash out any soap buildup.

Dunno. But you can try to run an empty load on high temperature with a cup of cooking oil in the machine. I got this from a service tech 10-15 years ago (our machine now 21) and he claimed it lubricates the seals and hinges of everything.

Take apart the filter etc inside and clean, check and drain holes for foreign objects.

Make sure the drain line goes up as high as it can then strap under sink, then let it come down to disposal. This acts like a trap so water roll back into dishwasher.

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

You stated your problem as: the dishwasher won't drain.....can here a valve opening and gurgling but then no water exiting. Have cleaned everything and pushed water via tap back through water-exit hose.I to have a Miele G664 dishwasher and when turned on no water no fill. Just sits there with a moter running. Un able to get anyone to come and have a look at it as I live in Mount Victoria NSW.
It sounds like the pump has failed. The motor and the pump are two different parts. This is a common problem with older units. Frankly, after 12 years of use, at least you got your money's worth. At this age, to repair it is to throw good money after bad. It's time o replace it. You'll find there are much nicer models available now.

if the water drains into a bucket then the blockage will be in the drain spigot under the sink where the drain hose connects.hope this helps.
