Hi,
If the power supply is good and showing proper voltage to the rails but no fans turn and absolutely no power is going to the computer, then it could be the processor or motherboard is burnt out. Check that power cable is firmly connected, the switch to power supply is on, and there is power going to the outlet.

Hi, I had the same inital problem as you, except I didn't put a new video card as I was please with the Onboard card performance that even has an HDMI port. Not sure if your problem is solved already, but in my working process, I first suspected the Power Supply, and I had everything out of the case but the Mother Board. When I tried to fire it up I was always getting "No signal" on the screen, not even a blink from the BIOS. I then put everything back in place, then after the HD started spinning of and Windows booting, the screen started coming on. I felt it was like if I needed Windows to have a clean booth to replace the video drivers and switch to the InBoard card. Hoping this of any help.

Monitor problem

The power light is flashing green can indicate start/restart of the power supply due to shorts circuits or failing power supply due to bad caps, look for bad caps with bulging top first, see example of failed monitors due to bad caps: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

My lcd screen does not show images projected by the computer, when the RGB cord is unplugged it says check cable setting and when adjusted and it picks it up it still shows nothing

Good day sir/maam, there are several reasons why your LCD monitor acts like the one you say. but let us start with the common ones.
  • check your PC if there is the video signal going out to your monitor. (simply, is your pc working fine?)
  • check your contrast/brightness control.
  • check what type of signal your monitor is accepting, VGA/DVI/HDMI/S-video?
If the above, did not solve your problem, there is serious problem with your monitor's power supply, check first if it is 110v/220/or autovolt that is 100-240v. Still wont work? at this point you have the option of taking it to your dealer for repairs or you do it your own. if you do, you may need to dissassemble your monitor. Check out your switching power supply section. you will find there the fuse, switching transistor on a heatsink, a high speed transformer and big capacitors, a switching oscillator IC. you have to test them one by one. until you find the bad part.

I suggest to bring it to your dealer. you may need extra cash.

Check the power supply on the PC. Make sure it working. When you first plug in the power to the power supply unit, the fan should "Jump" alittle.

No Power LED and Nothing on the screen

Check your power supply to your screen cause it should at least show a amber light at the screen to show that there is power but no proper signal from the computer.

So below are step to check the power supply to your monitor. Assuming if you use a different monitor on your pc it works

1. Check your fuse both internal and external
2. check if power is receipted by the LCD

Booting problem

Hi Yunisa,
I need a little more info on this issue. Do you hear the power supply fan operating when you switch the server on? Did the server still startup even though the monitor is not displaying? Did this problem just occur or where there other signs of a problem coming? This may sound a little foolish to you, but check to make sure that the server is plugged into power and that the monitor is connected properly. There should at least be a message on the monitor indicating there is no signal coming to the monitor. The first thought that comes to mind if all is connected would be that the power supply has failed. Please check this out and get back to me with info.
