How do I hook up a Yamaha eq-70 to a Yamaha RX-661 recvr?

Hi Tony mucci, to connect your Yamaha EQ-70 equalizer to the RX-661, you must use two double RCA RCA cables and the Line IN connection of the EQ-70, you go to the RX-661 MD / CD-R Rec connection and the Line Out connection of the EQ-70 you go to the MD / CD-R Play of the RX-661
This equalizer will work with the analog audio signals, but not with the digital ones
I hope you can connect it
Greetings Franco Dosil

I need to know how to hook up a Phonics PEQ 3400. It has 1/4 in and 1/4 out.

Hello Mark Hawkins, at the input of 1/4 your Phonics PEQ 3400, you are going to connect the audio signal that can come from a mixer console, a CD player or any other audio source, all levels, are low signal and the 1/4 output will be connected to the input of your / your amplifiers or if you use, frequency divider
Discuss what equipment you have to achieve a better solution to your need
Greetings Franco Dosil

HOW TO CONNECT A ONKYO TX NR535 TO AN EQUALIZER

First this solution will be fraught with potential problems:
1. There is no simple monitor outputs and inputs on the NR535.
2. The NR535 analog inputs/outputs are unbalanced, where the Behringer EQ is completely balanced (TRS or XLR)
3. Insertion of the EQ is analogous with inserting an effects device in an audio loop which in the case of analog surround will cause de-correlation or the companding sidechain making for non-compliance/performance issues.

OK, now the solution can be as follows:

Since the NR535 has a Zone 2 channel, you can use these L/R RCA outputs to make an effects loop. To do this you will need to make or buy RCA to TRS (1/4" phone Tip Ring Sleeve jacks) that you will connect from the Zone 2 outputs to the CH1 and CH2 inputs of the EQ. You will need another pair of the RCA to TPS to connect the output of the EQ back to one of the RCA analog inputs on the back of the Receiver.

Now once this is done, you will be able to Map Zone 2 input to any of the inputs other than the one you are using for the output of the EQ. Let's say you have mapped Zone 1 to your gaming station. This will patch the audio from your gaming station into the EQ and back into your previously connected analog input. At this point, you can leave Zone 2 and select your analog input which is your EQ output, which is your Gaming station. If you don't have any output, you may need to go back into the Zone 2 setup and adjust the volume level.

When you don't want the EQ in the signal chain, just select the input source other than the input used for the EQ's Zone 2 output.

I am not sure if this will work for all situations as you may have technical conflicts between analog and digital audio on some inputs. In any case, this will work with analog signals and I don't see any other simple solution for your case.

I hope this solution can help.

HOW TO WIRE GEMINI GRAPHIC EQ 3000 TO behringer djx750 proffessional MIXER

Line level output of the mixer would go into the line level inputs of the EQ, and the EQ line level outpputs to the line level inputs of the amplifier. If you are faced with a mix of unbalanced inputs or outputs, to balanced inputs or outputs it gets a little complicated because you need to matrix the balanced signal to unbalanced load and vice versa. There is no single answer to doing this either.

RCA jacks are unbalanced, 2 conductor 1/4 inch connections are unbalanced most of the time. XLR and 3 conductor 1/4 inch jacks and plugs can be either balanced or unbalanced. If either are wired so left and right are a single ring or tip on the 3 conductor 1/4 inch jack, it is unbalanced and they would share a common ground lead. XLR wired with one pin common with shield and right and left have a single conductor on the plug or jack, that is unbalanced.

The low frequencies adjustment is not working when i turn the sub frequency on low it lowers the volume of the bass completely

check the rca cables on the back to see if you might have the sub woofer cable in wrong rca spot

this is how it should be wired from your radio front output a set of rca cables go to the radio input of the eq. if you have sub out on radio it will not be used ... eq takes place of it ... turn off subout on radio ... to use eq or preamp you must have at 2 amps 1 for mids and tweets and 1 for subs to work eq right

then from the eq you have another set of rca cables comming from the front output to your mids and tweet amp and then if you dont have a second amp u wont need rear output move over to the suboutput and run a set of rca cables from eq's sub output to sub amp this is how the audio cable section should be connected if you still dont get it to work proper then then it has a electronic issue and need to warranted out if still in warranty or buy new one .... here is a link to the install manual with a wire diagram for repair shop .....http://www.poweracoustik.com/pa2006/manual%20and%20catalog/Processors/PWM-20.pdf

I have a zapco model PEQ board and i need the cable/wire wiring instructions can you help me?

The plug consists of a 7 pin plug which contains a ground, a hot lead for the PEQ itself, a neutral for the PEQ, and a hot and negative for each L and R channel, respectively. I had mine changed to RCA's years ago by a local shop, then soldered the connections myself after the proper connections were changed at the shop. I now have the signals changed into a Symbi-Link Transmitter/ Reciever System (unbalanced to balanced inputs) and am able to de-tune the PEQ and still get more output. It's fun... Hope the info helps.

JENSEN XA 184 AMPLIFIER

Hi, Jensen is under different ownership from when your amp was made, so it's unlikely that you'll find a replacement plug for the high-level input. A high-low converter is also called a line-out converter. It's a device that connects to the speaker wires and changes the signal to a low-level RCA connection. This allows you to use the amp's RCA plugs with your speaker wiring (through RCA signal cables). A line-out converter should be available any place that sells car audio accessories.
