Larger video (above 1 gig) will not upload to my computer. I tried through various programs, through cut and paste, and also by removing sd card and placing in sd card reader on my computer. Nothing works! Is the video corrupt or to big? This has happened three times now and is a big problem for me.

If you mean capture webcam footage when you mean download, you can use various programs to record from your webcam. If you want to upload to Youtube, they have a great built-in program to record your webcam footage and upload it from their site. If you wish to just record it for your viewing, a quick search for webcam recorders online will get you plenty of results. One program to try can be this.

I get jerky picture on playback on the computer using the flipshare program and any other playback program. It's like it is skipping frames or something. Once it is emailed (compressed) it plays fine. I...

Sounds as if your computer does not have the speed required for streaming the playback fast enough. you could add another gig of ram and look at your processor speed, that may need increasing. Try on a friends machine who may have a more powerful RAM and PCU. If it works on that you need to upgrade in both areas

if you require larger drive storage. you can add an external hard-drive via USB upto 500 gig usually without restriction.
You can also purchase An PCI Card, with sata connectors. should you wish to take that option. all the above is dependant on how modern your computer system/systems bios Is.
