SOURCE: LG Monitor won't turn on

I had this same problem with mine, and had to replace it. Sometimes it's the power supply, but depending on how old it is and how much it's been used, usually unlikely.
If you have a way to check the power supply output for proper current and voltage, and it appears to be fine then that's eliminated as a possibility.
Typically, time to replace it, unfortunately.
I hope this helps!

Flatron l1717s blank screen

Common cause of this is the VGA or DVI connectors not screwed on tight on either the back of the PC or the back of the monitor.

Also try removing power by unplugging for 30 seconds, sometimes that will reset things.
