Hi, this is to ask about my unusual watch behavior. My Tissot Touch is working properly after the battery change. When it's stored in the case the watch's digital function works fine including the analog hands. However, if put into the wrist after several hours the digital's seconds becomes too fast (seconds running double time) and the analog hands stop working. Need your advise, thank you

Thank you for the response. Fortunately I was able to identify the problem. The center button when pushed doesn't fully return and still touching the movement's contact thus in this position the watch becomes erratic and the digital's seconds starts to run fast after a while. Hope this helps others having the same problem.

SOURCE: Tissot T-Touch-Works fine until just about the end of the warranty

I suggest writing to Tissot in both your home country and in the head office in Switzerland. Use both email and paper letters. If you can provide documentation of the attempted fixes that will really help your case. Since you had a history of problems you have every right to ask them to stand behind their product. Perhaps there is a new warranty on the replacement movement, for example. You have nothing to lose except a bit of time, paper and postage. You could even ask your dealer to back you up with this -- he or she will still get paid for the work if Tissot agrees to extend the warranty.

SOURCE: Tissot wrist watch goingin reverse since new battery fitted

It sounds like the battery might be in backwards. They do
have polarity,...it DOES matter how it goes in. Try opening it, and
flip the battery to see if that helps.

SOURCE: Hi guys,

The Tissot Touch watch is expected to need "SYNCHRONIZTION" periodically. (that is, to synchronize the digital and analog portions.) The Tissot manual tells how to do this. This manual came with your watch and is available online from the Tissot website.

good luck, Rodney

SOURCE: The second hand of my Tissot watch T870/970 starts and stops.

Hello!
Absolutely astonished by this "solution" from escapement.
This watch is working perfectly - it is simply giving its "end of battery life warning".

Hello i have replaced the battery on my tissot t touch expert & display not working? Any suggestions. Battery was completely dead before change?

If the battery was dead too long the fumes from the battery might have damage the electronics and that's not good it will have to go back to tissot for a new movement What I'm going to tell u is very inportant. Never let a watch set dead I don't care if it's a windup or an automatic or even a battery watch. U must always keep the running because all the lubriactions will set up and not performed properly. Just like a car setting dead too kind In ur case the battery has cause the problem

T-touch dont display altimeter, meteo and thermo. How can i reset it ?

I have the same problem with my t touch one, the first model with round push button, after take it to a battery replacement and service, and ask a tissot representative store, I receive two answers and both says that I have to change the movement... means ... the machine, and if is under warranty will be free, is maybe 6 or more years old so no more warranty, sad but true, I let it be. I will not spend at least 400 USD. to do it, so, try to enjoy the rest of functions left and a nice looking watch.

Hi, My Tissot touch watch quit, it was just over 2 yrs old, and I took it to the local Jewelry Store that sold them. They sent it off to their Jeweler and he replaced the battery. Now the watch keeps...

If the Jewellery Store was not an Authorised Tissot Repair Centre then it is likely that they have made a mistake - the T-Touch is the only watch in the world that has a touch screen - so they may not be very familiar with it.
It may be going into setup mode because there has been a new battery just installed - go through the procedure and see if it works. - Pretend it is like brand new and you have to set it up for the first time.

Stuck on 02.10 hrs

You have to change battery. 3 years was a quite long service time for one battery. After replacement your watch will work as brand new. Rate me, plz.

Touch only works on some functions now . centre touch does not work at all and thermo does not work, cant get the date of course

If you have had the watch some time then the battery might be running down.

Go to a watch shop and have the battery replaced. If this does not solve the problem, then you may have to take it to a Tissot dealer or send it to a repair depot.

If you need to look for a dealer, one can be found by going to the Tissot web site "www.tissot.ch", from the menu at the bottom of the page select "stores" and fill in your details.

How do you change the battery on the T-Touch Expert watch?

I would not recommend changing this battery yourself unless you have the proper tools to close the case! If its a screw back then you will need a case wrench to close it otherwise you will scratch the case and case back! Plus it has a touch sensitive crystal! Screw that up and you will have to send it back to Tissot to have it repaired! That will NOT be covered by the warranty!

Good luck!

Tissot touch - the middle button came off hence

Here is the link to original Tissot website:

www.tissot.ch

I'm not sure if they will be willing to get in touch directly to the customer, but you can give it a try.
Please, note - you are asking for direct approach to Tissot, which is exactly what I did by supplying the link, so, my solution is 100%.
In case if you will not find there what you are looking for, it's not my fault.
