SOURCE: no cooling after power out, indicator lights pattern not in manual

The Mitsubishi units have to be reset by turning off the indoor units by switching the remote or thermostat to off. Then turn off the breaker to the outside unit(s). After 30 seconds, turn on the breaker and then you can turn on the remote for cool. If no lights come on on the inside units, most likely you have blown a fuse soldered on the main PC board. At this point, call your technician. A goos tech will be able to wire in an in-line fuse holder so if it should happen again, you can easily replace the fuse. If you do see a light or two come on at the indoor unit but the outdoor unit does not start after 3 or 4 minutes, sounds like you will need to call a technician. Most likely you have a blown fuse on the main PC board of the outside unit. It is not an easy one to replace. Good Luck!

SOURCE: unit shuts off

I assume this message is when operating from the internal battery alone, correct? It could be that the unit is confused about the power source status... yes, electronics sometimes get confused too.

Have you tried a hardware RESET? The button is hidden behind the front panel, which snaps off by a fingernail slot located directly under the GARMIN logo on the front panel.

* Use caution removing and reinstalling the front panel... it's somewhat fragile... wiggle it a little to get it off.

Press where it says "Press to Reset", hold for a second or two. Charge the unit with the car cord or USB cable, then try to turn it on again.

Once you can get the unit to (hopefully) turn ON, you should run all updates (there may be several!) using Garmin's Webupdater. (Connect to computer with USB cable first.)

Hope this helps!!

According to Garmin technical support your thin black line (my problem too) is due to a change made by the goverment to the waas correction. Turn WAAS off. Software update coming (soon I hope)

SOURCE: WE have Amcoraire Mini split unit heat pumps. One is

We have an Amcoraire 12,000btu mini split. The heat doesn't seem to be working. We can hear it trying to go on, the outside unit fan runs, but nothing comes out of the inside unit at all. This doesn't seem to be affecting the a/c part and we get no error codes. Is there something wrong with our unit?
Thank you.

My Soleus KFCHP mini-split air conditioner won't cool. Displays error F1: "the communication faults between the indoor and outdoor units." Tried tightening the connections indoors and out. Advice?

Cheryl, the first thing to do with this and any communication error is to cycle power on the unit. You could just be experiencing a blip in the control circuit that many times resets itself with a cycling of incoming power.

Outside unit freezing up and not heating up room inside

Check the defrost board in the outdoor unit... it should have a wire coming off pins that are stamped 30, 60, or 90. If the wire is on 90, then try setting it to 60 or 30. This just enables the defrost board to check the freezestat in minutes...the shorter amount of time, the less likely the unit will freeze up.

With the unit on cooling, it does not blow very cold air.

It sounds like you have a high pressure event shutting down the out door unit. Several things can cause this, but normally it is a airflow problem with the outdoor unit coil, either the outdoor fan is not running or the coil is getting plugged up with dirt in the fins which would need washed out with water, and if someone has overcharged the unit with freon it to will cause a high pressure safety event.

UNIT WILL RUN FOR 15 MIN WITHOUT PROBLEMS THEN THE DISPLAY WILL GO BLANK AND UNIT WILL THEN BLOW OUT WARM AIR.

Check the condenser coil blower wheel. Soleus Air units use a cheap plastic wheel that comes apart after the warranty period. The condenser coil is the backside coil that is rejecting heat through the exhaust when unit is cooling.
The display going blank is a symptom of unit overheating, it's can't exhaust the heat buildup at the condenser, therefore the cabinet overheats.
If you find the blower wheel in pieces, I have a parts source for you:
