Hello,

If you deal with electronics repair, you can disassembling the player and clean the lens, if you don't, go to service center.

All the best !

SOURCE: CD CHANGER EJECT BUTTON

Inspect the tray or door to see if there is a very small hole in it. If so, this is an 'emergency' ejection hole and a standard paper clip, unfolded, can be inserted there to manually eject the tray. This is a real common problem caused by the slippage of a clutch mechanism that is supposed to protect the tray mechanics from being damaged if the tray is somehow impeded during its travel.  It must be tougher than rocket science to properly design this feature -

SOURCE: 2007 nissan maxima will not load or eject CD's...or even play the

Hi, this is a common issue within car CD changers. the load motor go through lots of trauma during the life span that i usually 3 to 5 years. the load motor operates everything in the changer. it works the load tray and spinning of the disc as well. when this motor is out, the changer will be rendered useless. replacing the load motor will fix this issue or, you can just purchase a new changer and save a lot of money.

SOURCE: cd changer won't play, load, or eject

Had the same problem on our 03 yukon (not the changer but the main head unit) - have a 3rd party waranty and they replaced it. You can get the part for less than 300$ and it's easy to install.

Brennan JB7 Music Server Digital Jukebox. Why won't it let me put a CD in it?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Video Game consoles category.

Does it take it in and push it back out? The CD Lenses need cleaning with a CD cleaning disc.

Or

Does it not take in the disc at all? That is a fault with the tray mechanism.

The JB7 is not recognizing my USB. I would like to back up the music.

If your JB7 is not recognizing your USB drive, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the USB drive: Make sure the USB drive is working properly and is formatted in a format that is compatible with the JB7.
  2. Try a different USB drive: If your JB7 is not recognizing the USB drive, try using a different one to see if the problem is with the drive or the JB7.
  3. Check the USB port: Make sure the USB port on the JB7 is clean and free of any debris that may be blocking the connection.
  4. Restart the JB7: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue. Turn off the JB7 and unplug it from the power source. Wait a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  5. Update the JB7 firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your JB7. Installing the latest firmware update can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with USB drives.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

My Brennan JB7 (bought in 2012) has recently stopped recognising any USB connection. Can you help?

Have scanned the hardware bus while it's plugged in? Go to device manager check USB make sure there's no errors or exclamation points next to the device or USB. If the PC sees it in device manager and you don't have access update the drivers

I wish to transfer my vinyl records to my Brennan JB7.My record deck is a B&O Beogram RX2 2 phono plugs only, black & white. How do i do it? Thank You. Les Hillier

Having looked at the Brennan it can't record music only copy it.
So what you need is some software such as Magix Audio Cleaning Lab. This will record the music from the record player and get rid of the clicks and noise from the tracks.
You also need a converter, these are simple enough and you can get them from Amazon. See image below you can even transfer video with the yellow RCA or SVHS lead. Your deck plugs into the red and white jacks and the usb into the computer. Once recorded you can transfer the files to the Brennan.

Brennan JB7 wont switch on after we had a power cut

The power supply may have a voltage missing or have gone bad. Worse is the motherboard fried. If you used a surge protector it may have done it's job. There are sacrificial parts called MOV's inside that sometimes explode or just open internally. That may need to be replaced.

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ a single disc CD player...which has not been working for several months. There is a cd in the player but nothing happens when I press the eject button nor the CD button; won't...

Possible that the cd disc has jammed due to a change in the disc- warming can bend some cd's, also if the cd is struck inside as the loading mechanism is struck. In both cases the set must be pulled out if there is no hope with trying to retrieve the cd softly assisting while ejecting. If you do not hear any noise while the eject is pressed then the loading drive is faulty , you need to remove the cd , open to check, If this is mechanical then you can softly push the cd out, if not the electonic section needs a check.

Blueberry iMac with slot-loading CD rom drive will

It would be very difficult to open up the imac to retrieve the disc as the CD drive is totally enclosed and would probably result in it not be functional after removing the disk. Have a look at the following article on the apple website
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3007?viewlocale=en_US as it does indicate that the slot loading imac does have a hole for paperclip ejection. You could also try opening up disk utility and and clicking on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject. Hope this helps.
