There is a service manual behind the control panel it will show you how to test the door locks. If might have a bad lock solenoid.

make sure the strike is adjusted correctly.. it may have gotten bent out of place.. the strike is the little metal tab that comes off of the top of the center of the tub and goes into the door when you close the door.

You must be using too much detergent or the wrong stuff. Most of these machine sense the motor amp draw. If oversudsing occurs the washer will work harder to try and remedy it. Making it get hot and quit. It will try to do some routines to get rid of suds in the tub. You have to clean out the dispenser and use the correct amount of the correct stuff.
