SOURCE: Espresso machine not steaming

If the machine heats up for coffee, then the steam wand tips are probably blocked. Use a paper clip or needle to clear out the holes at the end of the steam wand.

SOURCE: we have the error 5 at the WMF coffee machine . please help what we do?

Just had the same problem today.

It seems that it's the grinder inside that's not placed correctly or dirty or jammed... just get the "brownish" thing out... See that everything turns as it should, that it's quite clean and put it back. Restart machine and then it should work

WMF Presto/schaerer coffeee machine error 167

Usually this is caused by a blockage in the steam boiler fill pipe when it timesout. This can get filled with limescale where running a descale program is not enough, it is too late. You will need to manually strip down the machine and remove the scale from the steamboiler fill pipe. Usually and 8mm drill bit is enough to remove it. It is also worthwhile removing the level probe and cleaning while the boiler is depressurised and cooled down. Once reassembled, run the descale program again.
