SOURCE: charging battery

you might have a faulty charger or the battery just won't charge , if you can exchange it back at the store I would do that , but otherwise the charger would have to be tested and the battery , and if those are ok then something is wrong in the mp3 player

Philips GoGear SA3245 (4 GB) Digital Media Player Can I download songs form I Tunes to this device?

You can download music for the GoGear from any reputable website, iTunes. it is just a case of plugging in the USB cable, go to My Computer and Look for the Philips Removable Drive.

open it up, go to the Music Folder and add your MP3 songs.

To add videos to this player you need to use the software Philips provided. It's a bit complicated to use so follow the instructions carefully. The software will convert the videos to a Philips format to enable you to add them to the Video Folder. You can't just add a file as this will not work, it needs to be converted.
Hope this helps you.

When I went to connect my Philips GoGear SA3285 to the USB, it turned on; however, it did not go past the Philips welcome screen. Why is this mp3 player doing this, what can I do to fix this problem and...

it's not broken!

Go to My Computer and you will see the Philips Removable Drive listed.

Double-click on it and go to the Music Folder and add your mp3's in there.

Videos will have to be converted beforehand using the Philips software located at

WHEN I PLUG IN MY SA3245 NOTHING SHOWS UP ON THE COMPUTER MONITOR

OK to Disconnect just means ur battery is full and no files are in transfer to the device. After changing battery, the device will update fora minute, if after a decent ammount of time goes by and nuthing happens, use a pin and hold down the reset button, forcing the device to power down, turn it back on and try to let it update again
