We have a Bravia 70" TV which is 4years old. Will not turn on blinking 4 red lights. We contacted Sony which ended up overseas we finally got a local repairman didn't remove back.

Hi... If it is a power board problem it is most likely capacitors that fail. Look for any electrolytic capacitors that are bulging on top. They are normally round with an aluminium top with a cross marked in the metal. They fail over time if they are low quality or high ESR with high transient voltages.

Make sure that you replace them with same or higher voltage ratings but with the same capacitance.

If you do buy them for stock in your repair shop look for high quality low ESR variety that will not a cause comebacks.
