I have a metamec grandmother clock it chimes 4min early have tried to syncronise it but it still chimes early

If your clock has a round arbour push fit hand it is quite easy to sync. Undo the nut and the minute hand will drop off easily, then gently but firmly pull the hour hand from the centre so as not to put pressure on the hand itself. As soon as the clock chimes, replace the hand exactly on the hour corresponding to the amount of strikes, replace the minute hand pointing exactly to 12 o'clock and replace the nut.
If the hour hand has a square fit arbour and held on by a rivet it is a bit more complicated and I would suggest you take it to your local clockmaker.

How do you change the blade on a Husqvarna partner K750 concrete saw?

The blade bolt is 13mm,on the opposite side there is a hole in the belt guard to insert a 6mm pin to lock the front pulley, once locked undo the blade bolt counter clockwise, once removed, remove the outer clamping flange, you can then remove the blade, the standard arbour is 20mm, this can be changed if you wish to a 25.4mm, or a 22mm, depending on the arbour size of the blade you wish to fit, the arbour just pulls off the shaft with a suitable puller. Refit the the blade and outer flange, tighten the bolt securley.

Is there an arbour lock on this saw so that I can tighten the bolt after putting on a new blade?

i cant tell you for sure, but, usually just put a piece of wood on the plate or deck, pull the saw down and have the blade make contact with the wood. tighten the nut and hold downward pressure

Where do i buy an arbour for dw744 table saw

If you have a type number of 4, an assembly will have to be replaced, not just the shaft. THIS COULD BE DIFFERENT IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT TYPE NUMBER. It can be purchased online through DeWalt, but verify your type number before ordering.

I hope this helps!

Why is there two places to wind a Seth Thomas Corsair E537-000 clock? Any description on the proper tension for winding?

Two winding arbours are in clocks with chiming, because there are two separategears in one clock and each one is driven by separate mainspring. Description for winding is: Wind each spring as long as you do not feel significant resistance. As soon as you feel the winding goes too hard - stop winding.

Unable to get the blade or arbour to tilt to a 45 degree anlge. Will only go to about 43 degrees. Cleaned gear shaft arbour moves on with no success.

First look for a stuck piece of wood in the gear tilt area. The other thing is if you don't tilt it that often the track or swivel can get rusty at the ends. try wd-40 on all the moving parts and you may even have to steel wool the track a little... sometimes as the blade tilts a loose screw will allow it to fall out of alignment jamming the arbor. Turn it upside down with the blade fully retracted and unplugged and see if you can give it a push inside as you tern.-- good luck

Sounds like you may need a new Thermostat.

Get a Haynes or Chilterns manual and a new Thermostat for the carfrom a car parts place like Autozone. Its normally a simple opperation to change it.

When drilling metal with a 1/2" bit, the chuck keeps coming loose on the arbour. It is a new Craftsman drill press.

I had a similar problem with my Delta; the MT socket may have dirt in it that prevents a tight fit, or there is a slight machining error. My solution was to clean the joints, and place a drop of Krazzy Glue on the taper, and ram it home - has stayed put for the last 20 years!
