Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I have a Phillips GoGear VIBE 4GB. Charged and tried to connect to PC to copy music off of MP3 player. It says fully charged and has MSC beside the pic of the player. The dots under it blink in sync for one time each then off. It responds to none of the buttons. When I unplug it, it opens to the Phillips logo then says File system error! System error: 3 How do I fix this?
Try formatting. windows file explorer select device right click select format

SOURCE: File System Error
Try formatting it using FAT32 or NTFS file system. I formatted my SA2840 and changed the file system from FAT32 to NTFS (what was I thinking!) and the ending of the story was pretty much the same.

you should be able to put it into recovery mode by holding the volume up button while hooking it up to the computer after that you should be able to do a recovery on it using the software provided with the player

For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to
mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then
copy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track.
