Uninstall all webcam drivers, including the one that comes with webcam (LifeCam 1.2) and install most current driver from Micosoft website before plugging in NX-6000 webcam.

This sounds like the On/Off program in the "Programs and Features" section of the computer. On newer computers, there is a feature called "On/Off", and what this does is it keeps power going to the USB ports on the computer so you can charge things and keep things plugged in. Sometimes, if you have certain things plugged into a USB port, and you shut down your computer, the USB ports will "wake" your computer up and turn it back on. Simple things like a wireless mouse will cause this, I know because I use a Logitech Trackball mouse and it's wireless. I had the same issue, and found out that simply flipping the switch on the mouse itself(turning it off), solved my problem. I would recommend either shutting the external devices off when you shut down, or just completely unplug everything from the USB ports(minus the keyboard).
1st You download Webcam Driver. Logitech QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks webcam immediatelly shuts down my Compaq laptop as soon as it's plugged into the USB port. After this install the Webcam driver in the system. Installation of Webcam Driver Go to the control panel Click on the System Icon Click on the Hardware Tab Click on the Device Manager s Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it. Right click on it and uninstall it. After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes. Driver installation Wizard start. Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next. Driver will be install.
The USB plug will need to be removed from the computer, if luck is with you the computer will work, if no part is available, use a none powered USB hub on a spare port if available to run your applications.
A bluescreen error is rarely a good sign, but sometimes it's fixable. Have you tried plugging the webcam into a different USB port? Also have you tried unplugging some unnecessary USB devices and then using the webcam? You may be draining too much power from the PSU with USB devices and the PC shuts down to prevent damage. Have you been able to test on a different computer to see if the problems happens there as well?
As always when oddities occur, run an anti-virus program scan and spy-ware scan.
Make sure there is an available drive letter between D and H, if you have a multi-card reader, multiple CD drives, etc. then you may be pushing the drive too far down the alphabet to initialize.
See if the drive will mount in safe mode, if it can then something is killing the device...run "msconfig" and use it to remove any TSR programs and services which you don't absolutely need in the system until the device can be initialized.
If you have the option between a regular USB port and a USB 2.0 port, remember to setup the drive in the USB 2.0 port.
Webcam software has a habit of remaining hooked up to any previous application it was used in. When you get this message re-boot the webcam software by unplugging it from the USB port for a few seconds.
Thats just your computer ending the process of skype.
As for the pc shutting down automaticly it can be that its oveheating!!
On my Dell Inspiron 2200 I get the Blue Screen every 2 hours and I dont mind.
Might be bad memory
Some usb devices are like this. The manufactures simply don't tell you that this can happen.
Your best bet is to boot the PC with the device connected and to shut it down before you unplug it. I know it isn't plug and play but this may be your only choice.
I used to have a phone that did this one in every ten times I connected it. I would hold my breath each time I plugged it in :)

(That Blue screen is known as BSOD - Blue Screen Of Death - As on that screen you dont have any OK / Cancel Button and you dont have any other option other that Restarting your system manually when BSOD appears thats why it is known as Blue Screen of Death -
Anyways the important information from that error screen is located in the Second Paragraph + Last paragraph where some Hex codes are written

Because most probably this is NOT a virus problem but it is a Hardware problem with your USB port)
