Where is the kill switch on my SuzukiXL7 2004 so I can start my engine after an accident?

I was involved in an accident last night and the car was driveable but had to be towed. Engine turned over but it wouldn't start. The officer said it was probably due to the kill switch being actiivated.

SOURCE: The Volvo S40, 2,4i, 2007, fuel cut off switch

look in the trunk... either it has side panels that can be removed... or you will see a hole in the side of the lining with a sticker that points out where it is.

SOURCE: kill switch automatically activates

It is a problem most likely with the key sensor for the lock out.

Sounds like you need a starter, or you have a loose wire somewhere under the hood.

SOURCE: BMW 325xi; 160k; check engine light on-->next day, wont start!

The check engine light is a warning to let you know something needs your attention to be repaired I would try getting a jump. Could be a bad battery. Lets get the battery charged and tested. Cold weather will stop your car from starting if you have a weak battery. You dont need to tow the car just take the battery to Autozone or Walmart to be charged and tested for cca...cold cranking amps

My Range Rover kill switch will not shut off and engine won't start

There are only to Kill switches I know of. The inertia switch for the fuel cut off. They just don't pop on their own. Ford had a problem back in the mid 80's, but fixed it. I have never replaced one. Reset a few because of accidents. The other kill Switch is security. There is no reset for this. You have to have the codes read, see what part of it is malfunctioning. Could be the the key, receiver, wiring, or the module. Could be the ECU. It takes a scanner to read the security codes.

Got into accident car wont start where is kill switch

IT should be at the back part of the engine bay. See if the reset helps. Other than that check for loose connections or disconnected ground wires.

Engine wont start due to it been immobilised!

For a long time Landrover has had a inertia fuel cut switch which is set to kill the fuel pump when in an accident.. I should be located in the engine bay. The switch is reset by pressing down the centre of the rubber cover on the top of the switch.

Fuse behind glovebox 20amp always blows when car starts which kills the engine. What does it regulate someting is grounding out...what can it be?

Only one way to find out. Get a 30 amp fuse in there, get 3 or 4 more people to be spotters, open the hood, one under the dash, wait till dark, start the engine, somebody will see a spark, you just found your short. If it blows without anybody seeing anything, try it again, feel the wires at random and see if they got hot somewhere, open the trunk, check everything, have somebody under the car looking. I found this by accident one night, hope it helps.
