Hello! I have RCA LED55C55R120Q. It says "Input is blocked" - so I assume that some of my friends by accident turned on parent control and now nobody know the password. 0000 and reset do not work. How knows how to unblock it?
Could you try all 4 digit combinations patiently to see if one works, methodically writing down each try? This is assuming it is only a 4 digit password, such as 0000.
Could you possibly contact RCA to see if they can offer a solution?

I'm really guessing here - -but while you're in the parental controls screen I believe you can use 0-0-0-0 as a backdoor key. It's different for every manufacturer, Philips uses 0-7-1-1 example. But the users's manual for that TV says that the "default" is 0-0-0-0.. Don't really understand their use of that terminology so it's merely a guess... The Proper reset code is Select 7444. You have to hit the select button first or the code wont work.

for the phillips and magnavox tv sets the code is 0711, then open the menu setting restet the code to something easy to remember , or what i would do is completly disable the child lock by going to that option in parental settings.try it hope it works!
