How to adjust aspect ratio on Mitsubishi VS-6043 TV?

I am pulling out my hair trying to figure out how to change the aspect ratio on this TV. Right now the picture is too big, overfilling the screen and cutting off parts of the picture. Is there a menu setting I am overlooking that will help me shrink the aspect ratio to the correct size to just fill the screen?

I have the same problem and the only thing I could do was to change the name of the input on your tv to pc on the menu screen and it should set it to 1080p reduced this will fit the whole picture and set your screen res on your computer to 1920x1080

could be or the aspect ratio has changed
get the on screen menu up and find the scree aspect ration using the volume buttons adjust till the picture is full screen with the figures the right size( not tall and skinny or short and fat)-- ok then exit

Monoscope signal how to get it Mitsubishi VS-6043 rear tring to adjust the picture its all warped looking got tv out of ditch tring to make it work

does the convergence align or move? how is the picture distorted? if the picture aligns but is just warped, use a jig or some string to have some straight lines to reference for your geometry and convergence. the monoscope signal is hard to find and mits had it on a vhs tape back in the day. it really just helped you get the horizontal and vertical size and get a round circle to fix the warp.. just try to make all the grid points about the same distance apart and make it an even grid.

You cannot change aspect ratio when recieving HD signal. Try changing the cable box or satellite box format or aspect ratio.

Mitsubishi VS 6043 Convergence Help

You can also access the convergence menu from the front panel, but it can be a pain to do so. If the convergence will not adjust, please respond to this post and I can help you further.

If you want a new remote you may want to check out www.remotes.com and see if they have the remote or a similar remote for you.
