Keeps playing first few seconds of music files

This happened to my n95 last summer, but it seemed to correct itself after a while, but now its happened again!!! Its very frustrating. Cant even get to messages, or anything else for that matter - it happened 2 days ago and its stuck on that day on screen too.

If anyone has any suggestions they'd be gratefully received.

Thanks
Jules

Start by taking the battery out and reinstalling it.

If this doesn't work, and the keyboard is still responding, use the "soft reset" code - *#7370# - you will need to enter the phonecode (12345 if you have never changed it).

If that doesn't work, then use the "hard reset" code *#7870# - but be aware that this will delete all data that's stored in the phone memory - the contents of the memory card are not affected, however.

Finally, there is the phone reformat, which will also erase all the settings and data on your phone - to do this, remove the battery, reinstall it and hold down the "*", "3" and "Answer (green phone)" buttons and while holding them down press the power button. Hold the keys down until the phone starts asking the startup questions again. Having 3 hands helps for this proceedure.

If this doesn't help, then the last thing to try is to reinstall the phone firmware using the Nokia software update service - http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update

If it still doesn't work after that, then about the only option is to take it to a Nokia service centre and get them to fix it, since it sounds like a hardware problem.

Itunes and Spotify crash when connected to denon reciever

Yes it sound like you have a fault on the power amp section. Perhaps a faulty transistor? It might be difficult to sought out, unless you have a bit of experience in tracking down these types of faults.

Audio/Music skip sounds every few seconds at random constantly

Hello my friend, what program are you using and what type of music?
First uninstall all drivers and install the latest one.Second check your CPU activity when you are playing music(from task manager ctrl+alt+del),if its too high its a problem. If you are using different music from .mp3 like .ogg or something "not common" you must install the latest codecs.I'm waiting for your reply.

No sounds n95 nokia

try format your phone, you must back up your file first, copy all important data as contacts, images, musics, then remove your memory card from your phone.

soft format = press *#7370#
it'll ask if you want to do a -factory setting?- press yes
then try your headset and remove it again, if problem occurs, try hard format

hard format = when your handphone is switched off , press simultaneously (at the same time), # button, 3 button, green call button, and lastly press on-off switch for a long time, it'll blink few times and format itself, your data will be erased all (instead of just factory set), it'll look like brand new the first time you buy it, no data at all. then try if the problem still occur.

Last solution if after format still have that problem, you need to upgrade it via Nokia website. Use your cable, your PC suite, and upgrade it via Nokia website. Remember to have your battery full during this all process or your phone will die.. and you have to spend extra money to bring it to technician later..

Music Player Won't Play - 'muted'

I don't think that I can suggest a precise fix for your problem. I would probably go about backing up my contacts and data. I would then 'hard reset' the phone by dialing *#7780#

Sounds like you have two problems here. First my guess is your files bought from walmart are corrupted some how. just delete the ones that are giving you fits and call it a day. Second you mentioned it wont even sync music,,,, Are you saying none of your music or just the walmart ones ?

Corrupt Files/Other?

Good Day, Have you tried reformatiing it? Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth. To format plug it in to usb. Go to my computer It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f: Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format. Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f: L8R
