Has anyone figured out how to fix this "no date" issue when changing batteries in a JSH safe?

I have dell latituded620 windows 7 my kids have encrypted the files and I cannot change the settings I can't get out of safe mode tried system restore please help

System restore will only allow you to restore back at a certain date, you can ask for a much earlier date and restore again, if you cannot get an earlier date, you MUST go into your BIOS and reset your computer, or do a fresh restore to "Just Out of Box". The latter is what I would do. If it's staying in safe mode, you can go into your BIOS and do your resets. While there, reset your password for admin so your children cannot open your unit at all.

Check the manufacturer's date on the alarm. There should be an expiration date, usually 5 years. You may have to buy a new unit.
Good Luck.

Where's the volume on a Juki JSH-777B??

That is the brand and model of the payout hopper, not of the machine itself. Visit forums to find out more about the particular machine you have.

Try booting to safe mode and try it from there.

Here's how to boot to safe mode.

Restart your computer and tap F8. Once you see safe mode. Use the arrow key to highlight that and press enter.

Once inside safe mode, then check if your space bar works. If not, then you need to reset your keyboard (you can find tutorials in youtube). If it woks in safe mode, then do a system restore.

How to do system restore:

Click on Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Select a date or restoration point which is dated before the problem occurred. Launch it.

Please drop me a line if you have any questions.

How to perform a hard reset in my laptop - Asus K52F?

When did you get this virus? have you tried booting into Safe Mode, then do a System Restore. Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and select a restore point (date and time) before you started having the problem. System Restore does not cause you to lose any data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs (unless the program was installed after the restore date you selected).

To get to Safe Mode:
Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.

Just bought an acer aspire worked fine for a few days now it will pop up there was a problem with the internet and shut the itnernet down,it started out going blue screen and at the bottom...

I think the problem is related to virus. Try restoring your PC to an earlier date 9 a date when it worked fine). You do this from Start-> Programs -> Accesories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Select
Restore my computer to an earlier time and Click Next. A date calender will appear, select the preferred date and click Next twice. The system will automatically restart when restoration is done.

If u are not abe to run System Restore then you need to enter safe mode by pressing F8 during booting and selecting Safe Mode from the menu that appears. In safe mode you will be asked a question, you have to select no, and system restore will start

If restoring your pc does not solve the problem then you may need to reinstall your OS.
