The vocals are directed to the centre channel. If this is not connected or the connection is poor then it will mute the sound of the vocals.
If you want you can select stereo mode when listening to just music. Not the surround modes. Or you can check the centre channel is working and not switched off. Some amps have the ability to switch speakers off in different modes or settings.

SOURCE: Samsung HT-X50 DVD Audio Problem

I had this same problem and checked all of my cables and wires. Come to find out one of the wires that connected to the central audio speaker (the one that the audio track comes from) was unplugged. I plugged it in and that fixed it! My audio track is back! So make sure that all of the speaker cables are properly connected! That might be the source of your troubles!

I use Samsung C3010. when playing music player, I don't hear any voice. I only hear the instruments. I've tried many airphones but nothing. can it be solved?

How are you obtaining the music that you play on the Samsung C3010? If you're recording the songs yourself, it sounds like you are recording one channel out of phase with the other. This phasing "effect" is how vocal eliminators work. Try playing back music from another source and see if the vocals return.

I record music on Tascam dp2. Why can't I hear my music in all spks. on 5.1 surr. dvd player? I can hear other cds in all 5 spks.

When u record music, its important that the background music be at -7db and the vocals should bounce the level meters to just over 0 db,also if u use a mixing console to add more instruments to the mix, the mixed output of the added content MUST BE NO MORE THAN -7db in order to maintain balanced music output to all channels.

XO Vision Bluetooth in-dash dvd player

you probably set the audio for 5-channel. In a 5-channel set up. Which it doesnt sound like you have there is a 5th speaker in the center of the dash dedicated for clear vocals. Play with surround options and i'll bet you can fix it
