Unbalanced load My Whirlpool Cabrio vibrates noticeably during the spin cycle. Sometimes it is so bad that it shuts off and reads unbalanced load. A service repairman replaced the pump and said it had a F32 (water pump) problem. It still vibrates too much. My wife sets the water level to "auto". I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but thought you should know. When we 1st got the machine it was so quiet, but now it shakes the whole house. It takes 48 to 72 minutes to wash a load depending on the settings. Is this normal?

I have a similar problem. My cabrio washer is just LOUD now during any part of the cycle in which the tub spins. It was so quiet but, now it's extremely loud. I doesn't vibrate and the washer is very sturdy and balanced. Should I call someone or is there a part I can replace myself? The noise does not seem to have affected the washing of my clothes but, I'm scared that the machine is going to completely break and then I'll have bigger problems or a big mess. Please help.

Mac I'm having thesame problem, I've contacted wirldpool and they send someone from sears to replace it with a substitution, the substitution part only work good for abouth 2 months and had the same problem again, you need the correct original part to fix it and not a substitude.

The time its taking to was is alittle long because its stopping and starting to try to rebalance the load. the problem with the shaking is being cause by the u-joint/leveler which is located below the was plate that your clothes sit on in the washer. this part (the u-joint/ leveler) is sold as a kit to fix this problem

My washer shakes violently sometimes during the start of spin cycle, not that bad sometimes. could it be springs worn or unbalanced load ,, maybe feet are not evenly level?

Most likely an unbalanced load especially when it improve during the spinning cycle. When it happens stop the cycle immediately and re position the garments evenly in the drum. If this eliminates the shaking it proves that the load was unbalanced if not the springs must be checked for the possibility that one might be unhooked. Check also if all the feet are making contact to the floor by grabbing the loader at the top and trying to rock it in any direction. If there is movement the feet need to be adjusted until thee is no movement possible at all.

My whirlpool duet washer hammers very loud when it spins. The outside of the machine doesn't seem to vibrate much but it is very loud.

That is a common occurrence with dryers such as this one. Even though it sounds bad, it is harmless. If it really bothers, you can re-balance the load and it should reduce the vibration.

When the washer displays uL when spinning?

'Unbalanced Load' occurs when the machine detects that one side of the tub is heavier than the other.
This most often happens when heavy and/or large items become pushed to one side of the tub during the wash and become much heavier when the spin cycle engages.
This is more often seen in 'tub' style machines rather than front loaders.
Usually the machine has a safety system which shuts down the spin cycle and 'buzzes' to alert you to reach in and move things around in order to rebalance the load.

Whirlpool washing machine make loud noise after spin cycle quits. Noise continues until cycle winds down. Sounds like a machine gun being fired

Hello, have to tell you that most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping noise during the spin, the load of cloth may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the cloths, then restart the machine. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Thanks

Noisy when trying to spin. display uL instead of time remaining. Stopped, opened lid and redistributed load. Started up again. cycle continued but still displaying uL. Not sure if load still unbalanced?...

REPLACE YOUR SUSPENSION RODS. You can get them at a discount applicance parts store online for about $60. Our washer is about 8 years old and has been getting unbalanced on every load. I replaced the suspension rods tonight and and it solved the problem.

What causes Cabrio washer to get unbalanced in spin cycle?

Try making sure that your draining hose isnt jammed all the way down the hole. When you installed it the u shaped accessory was needed for the draining hose. Try pulling the draining hose out...curve the front and zip tying it to your cold water valve. This will allow it to drain properly and not get water push back into the drum causing it to be unlevel

Vibration of wash machine

Hi!

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary. If there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
